Today's vlog: We're out of the marina for almost a month now, and our fresh food is almost finished... so we will show you what we did to prepare for that, and how we think we will stay healthy the coming time.
On the 17th of April 2020 we left marina Port Ghalib in Egypt, heading south towards Sudan and Djibouti and finally Maldives. We will take it easy, enjoy the beautiful reefs of the red sea and keep an eye on the corona regulations of the ports we pass. Since many countries are closed we don't know where we will be allowed to go on land again, but we can survive 4 month without seeing anybody :)
This journey is only a small part of our trip that started 2 years ago. We got the sailing- skills on our friends yacht 'Shalom' when we joined them on a trip from the Netherlands to Spain. / @sailingshalom . In Spain we decided to go with our own boat, and in no time we were the happy owners of 'Messenger'. We left may 2018 and started vlogging from the beginning, we made 15 minute video's of our adventures, the nature and the many special people we met. We cooperated with OM to visit their projects and film them on our way. Since 19 of March we started with a daily vlog due to the corona situation. We plan to keep doing this the coming months.

Haha thanks. Heb em normaal niet op als ik naar mensen ga, of dus vlog. Alleen beetje thuis als ik m'n lenzen ff niet in wil. Had niet gedacht dat ik vandaag in de video zou komen 😁

Ik ben blij dat mijn ouders dat niet wisten. Ik eet ook graag chips, koekjes en yoghurt die niet in de koelkast hoeft. Als het zwaar weer is, eet ik heel veel spaghetti zonder saus, dat werkt goed. Heel veel plezier en hopelijk hebben jullie niet zoveel spaghetti nodig. Groetjes Jelle

Ah die yoghurt die niet in de koelkast hoeft had je moeder het ook al over. Wij hebben die niet gevonden in Egypte, maar iemand in de haven heeft ons geleerd hoe je zelf een bak yoghurt kunt maken van een paar lepels yoghurt en houdbare melk :) ook heel lekker! O ja, goeie tip die kale spaghetti, dat werkt voor mij denk ik ook wel ga ik eens proberen. Hopelijk is dat niet vaak nodig nee 😁

Hello Hermen & Marjolein.... just to say that I'm enjoying following your adventures....... Just one comment if I may please? Over the last few days I notice that your background has become louder and is making it more difficult to hear what you are saying........ I don't know if it's just me and my hearing? But looking forwards to seeing your ongoing journey! God bless you both and keep you safe.

Haha good question :) we did not have rain for 2 to 3 months, and we aren't very good at relaxing. But we will try to show you something.

We will probably put it on water for a couple of hours and then boil or bake it, but we don't have experience 😂

Hoi Herman en Marjolein we zijn heel benieuwd of nu alles zoet zuur smaakt proef je dan nog het verschil tussen de groentes. De gedroogde wortel wat ga je daar nu mee doen wat is de bereiding. De eieren zitten in een glazen pot ook zoet zuur ? Dit zijn allemaal vragen van Scarlett😀 Ewart je de antwoorden voor volgende week of in de volgende vlog 😀
