Lots of small projects started this past week. We also had a heatwave which made things a bit more difficult, and I think it partially contributed to my burn out.
School started, it was nice to have some uninterrupted time to work at the apartment, or even just to take a walk around the property after the morning drop off.
Got tired of painting and trying to rescue the windows, so I decided to move on to something more fun: decor. Few lights are hung already, furnitures are finding their permanent place in their rooms, secured all dining chairs, refreshed some pouffs, and of course, a couple of brocante finds. We also opened few windows at the Chateau, and it gave me a chance to show you around the dining room. Thanks for watching!

It's a great idea to switch jobs when you get that burnout feeling. There are so many you could do, just keep moving or take a few days off. The molds turned out great. Just remember to spray paint them before you put them up on the wall, so much easier. Your work on the chair looks good to us in the video.

The holes look really cool. Now that you have stopped them from going any further wax the wood.

If I see another one I will try to take a photo of it, but they move very fast and look for holes to hide in

I believe what they call wood worm is what we call termites. ❣️

After gluing them you need to put braces on them ,for a week or so, to keep them tight. Then remove the braces and they should be steady for a long time. You just need to find out the best places to put on the braces. There are metal ones and straps that might be what you need. But again, watch some furniture vlogs where they fix furniture. Everything you pretty well need to know how to do is on KZfaq. Plus tons of decor ideas.

I am totally Impressed!! You have done so many projects. I love the plaster items for over the doorways they are going to look spectacular! Love how you steamed the two green stools with fringed bottoms....all your efforts with wood worm....before I forget That Gorgeous Chandelier in the first clip!!! WoW!! You have been busy fixing chairs buying one-of-a-kind original furniture items that large chest is absolutely priceless. I am looking forward to your next video this one was exceptional.. Jackery solar portable power station a good fix if you want power without electric. Maybe contact online a few solar units and ask if they will sponsor your channel if you use and review their product. Until next time ❤

Thanks so much for your kind comment and advice on the solar. It totally makes sense and I might give it a try. I am happy to hear you liked the video. Last week somebody reached out saying that I am not really getting anything done and as much as I am usually not bothered by comments, it let me down for a moment and I started to question my efforts. So I really appreciate your comment and will continue on chasing my imagination when it comes to projects around the Chateau.

Treat all the wood, the woodworm is not just in one room or palace.
