I love the video. Any suggestion about how to add another line which tracks the increase in net worth? Right now I just do the calculation and input the number myself. Thank you
@MrGTMan0028 күн бұрын
I actually have added that feature on my own Google Sheets. What I did was select the cell right below the net worth (Row 46). Start a formula by typing "=", then arrow up one cell to the current month's net worth value, then type "-" and then arrow up and left one cell to select the prior month's net worth. Press Enter. This calculates the difference this month compared to last month.

You should really adjust the throttle trim and the tuning on it definitely not safe having the throttle going without using the transmitter 😂

Hi, very inspiring for my own project. I don't know where you live but is it a region with frost and lots of rain? Was the oven affected? Some say vermiculite is more sensitive to moisture than perlite.. What is the overall state of the inside shell after some years of use and standing the weather now?
@MrGTMan0028 күн бұрын
It is a region with rain and freezing. Ontario. It has been about 3-4 years... and it is not doing very well. I'm going to attempt some crack repairs this summer / fall. I think it would benefit from a small roof to keep the water off the dome. Seems to seep into all the cracks / joints and freeze.

I have a 2004 Four Winns Horizon 190, and I just replaced my original Faria gauges with new Farias. I've reconnected all of the wires, but there is a tan/blue wire with a a red, round potted component about the size of a quarter on it, and that wire appears to be the audible engine alarm wire, and I don't know where it is supposed to be connected to at the gauges. Can you help me?

Sorry I don't know the wiring schematic for your specific gauges. Did they come with a diagram? If not, I would contact the manufacturer if a google search doesn't turn up the info you need.

Thank you thank you thank you for this video. I could not figure out why I couldnt get my pump to prime, and you finally explained it to me. Got my well back up and running after some upgrades that ended up changing the location of the check valve (might have to put it back where it was) and the vertical relationship of the pump to the faucet outside, which ended up making it harder to prime.

Quest i already have 2 buzzers 1 for each inboard. I want to wire a warning 12v led to the 2 terminal buzzer. It has 12v across both term. key off when turned on buzzer sound and oil pressure switch activates the buzzer until started then turn to ground on 1 term.. I wired the light between the 2 term and works great. Should i use a diode or inline fuse for 1 side of the 2 term buzzer? These are tiny leds.

I don't think it is necessary to add a diode. LED is Light Emitting Diode. It already has one.

Nice job. I'm glad that I'm not the only one that has to listen to when the water finally starts to pull through the pump. Sometimes it helps to pour water while it is running, but be ready for water to burst out. 50 PSI is pretty high,, but mine is just for a camp so about 22.

A bit of grease on the bolt and screw threads will make it easier to get apart the next time. I recently disassembled a Franklin/Jacuzzi C series pump and snapped a bolt off even after working at it slowly and using penetrating oil. The motor end case is aluminum so it really corroded with the dissimilar metals. I was able to drill it out and clean it up with a tap but what a pain. It's nice that many of the newer pumps have stainless steel shafts. 30 years ago I replaced bearings and seals on a GSW pump and after only 4 years the shaft was badly pitted where the moving part of the seal was located. I filled the voids with epoxy and ground it smooth. Thanks for the video and shopping at Canadian Tire.

If you put the check valve down in the well like 5 ft. and the tee up at the top, then you just fill the tee and use it as a bleeder. When it is full just screw in the plug in the tee and it will prime itso facto. ( fast )

hi - thanks so much for this but the formulas are only in the first column... shouldn't the formulas repeat for columns going into the future. I cut and paste the formula for the first column and laboriously revised the formulas for that column - it seems like there should be an easier way to do that. I am an excel and google sheets beginner, unfortunately.
@glentaylor447 Жыл бұрын
I'm not sure exactly what you mean. I just double checked the template, and the formulas go across the sheet - for example on the "Input Tab", Row 2 and 3 formulas go across from columns D to AA. If you can provide some more specific cells for me to look at, I will take a look.

do you have to drain the system before removing the sand point cap?
@MrGTMan002 Жыл бұрын
Not sure exactly what cap you are referring to. But, generally the system will be under pressure, so to avoid water spraying everywhere, unplug the pump or shut it off, open a faucet somewhere and let the pressure drain down. Then you will only be dealing with gravity pressure.

If you can't build pressure, make sure your check valve is not stuck closed
@MrGTMan002 Жыл бұрын
This can occur if you are pumping water up to a spot that is higher than your pump. You push water up, then it runs back down when the pump is off. Just crack the plug open a bit to let out any air, then put it back in and cycle the pump again. No need to add water if there is water in the pipes that runs back and fills up the pump cavity again on its own.
@AsDfGh6781 Жыл бұрын
My power went out. The pump is on but no water. No pressure
@MrGTMan002 Жыл бұрын
Sounds like you need to prime again then. Possibly a leaking check valve caused you to lose prime. Did you notice that your pump cycled on before the power outage, when there was no water being consumed?
