Had you done a full vacuum pull down to test the lines before charging (Mr. Cool tells you you don't need to a huge weakness in the install) you would have found the leak most likely. That and the nitrogen pressure test can prevent incidents like this as you know after you do them you have a problem.

I've got a 2004 LJ that I'll be ordering 1.5 gallons for. I'll likely have plenty of leftover to do a drop coat for a more even texture. I'm not planning to take it to bare metal because I have no rusting, just removing the clear coat with a 150 grit sandpaper I think. Looking forward to this project. Thanks for the video.

I’m dosing a version of this right now. The epoxy looked so cool on its own. Like glass but the varnish shows all the brush strokes. Can I buff those out or is that the look? They don’t seem to be laying down.

Loved this video...I have brown dark stained wooden counter stools that I want to antique white with a dark accent. Can I use white chalk paint or a white paint stain to wipe over the chocolate brown paint on the stools after I rough them up with sand paper?

Great video. I want to do something like this on a smaller scale for my Train layout. I want to put a single led inside a tiny plastic bubble attached to a plastic straw which will go through multiple layers of form. It comes up at the bottom of a little lake. Epoxy will fill the lake over the light. Worried the LED 12 volt light will get too hot inside the little tube. Do you think this will work?

Hi man. I bought the Breez Plus the other day. My problem is this. .. I created an ON schedule in the morning and disabled Comfy Mode on the said schedule. Then I created an OFF schedule for the night and added the Comfy Mode setting on it so the AC will turn on and off to keep a certain temperature range constant in the room at night (I want the AC running all day but not all night long). Problem is even though I disabled the comfy mode in the ON schedule it is still activating. I only need the comfy mode option in the OFF schedule to come on when necessary. Why do you think Comfy Mode is still coming on even though I disabled it in the ON schedule? I also tried the DO NOTHING option but it's still activating.

I am surprised the HVAC guy did not vacuum the lines and then check if it hold the vacuum or better nitrogen pressure the line and see if it holds. That should have told you if the leak was within the lines or the coil. Another thing, you normally should have added R410a to the compressor since it was nearly empty. Form this, it is best to vacuum to a recovery tank and weigh the refrigerant recovered, then pump it back and add to the exact weight of refrigerant. Or better, add new refrigerant. Folks, make sure you take pictures of your serial number in and out units as they are printed on paper and don't last. Useful if you need to get the warranty. I was able to find the leak in my inside unit within the coils where the electrical is. Not sure the warranty will work as I cannot get the serial numbers (my inside unit has some of it missing and the outside unit serial is gone).
