Nothing concerning power levels in any C3 bumps me at all. This is the easiest "fix" in any old car but in C3 Corvettes it's especially UNIMPORTANT, IMO. I'm not looking for a Collectable car. I want something I can actually drive on sunny Sundays. I'm not looking for a 6 or 7 figure bet on the future value of the car going higher that I need to squirrel away in a climate controlled "safe place". When looking at any of these cars my choice of one over another comes down to paint and body alone. This is where I know I can buy either the best car I could hope for or the biggest mistake I'll come to regret later. No reasonably priced C3 Corvette has the power I'd be looking for anyway. So the engine is coming out. Corvettes are EXPENSIVE to paint properly so when looking I always prioritize that piece of the puzzle. For someone else it might be different but for me I know what I can and can't do. Mechanical stuff "easy/peasy".......body and paint? Not-so-much and I know a good job will have to be handed over to a body shop.

Had this installed in March solved the problem of not being able to get it out of park. Yesterday it did the not releasing again after a few times it shifted out of park ok. Today it happened again after a couple tries it worked. Tonight I went to leave and it is stuck again. I can not even put in in acc to put it in natural. just tried it again and it will not come out of park. I can not get it out of the garage.

Zo6 zr1 only two I'll have. which I have a 2008 zo6 velocity yellow it's awesome very quick and fast but the zr1 is the monster.

This is great advice. Dad and I had a wheel bearing problem on our 1971 Stingray on a road trip from MI to FL. Finding a shop around Round Hill, VA was next to impossible (back in the late 80’s). Another no-no was driving in early winter conditions in Detroit. In sleet on I-696, I turned on the wipers; the louver came up and both wiper arms flew off the car. Not good.

It does take some time if you are like me and rewatch each step multiple times as you are doing the job. You just have to follow the video and you will be happy that you did and understand how the shifter functions. Don’t know what someone will charge you but only a few privately owned shops will have done this before. Most will have just replaced the whole shifter. One shop thought something around $2400 but that included a new shifter. I was comfortable with doing it myself. The video is excellent.

Good video! I’ve changed over to all LED on my ‘09 C6…. Including the sunvisors…. Which replacing those tiny bulbs is impossible, so I bought a new set that come with LED. I used the GTR CARBIDE headlight system from Vettelights and man, what a difference!! I get lots of awesome comments. But, the turn signals hyperflashed and Vettelights made good on a resistor solution. LED is the way to go on your C5 and C6 Corvettes folks, draw less power and more brighter and think about this guys, your brake lights will come on a nanosecond faster. In the tragic world that’s a game changer.

I've always loved C3s, I"m in my early thirties with three toddlers so right now really isn't the best time. But I want to take steps to be prepared when the kids are a little older and less hands on and I have more free time to spend with a classic vette. I want to have something like that so that when the kids get older they can remember how much fun it was to ride around with Dad and take the t tops off. I'm really enjoying watching your videos and learning/day dreaming. Thank you for your videos!

My neighbor owns a 1970 c3 and a Ferrari 308 that I believe is an 1983. The interior of the Ferrari looks like cardboard wrapped in leather with face screws holding it together. Absolute junk interior compared to the older 70 c3 sitting next to it.

I purchased my victory red 2008 C6 with a 3LT package in the beginning of April this year.. there were several upgrades done to the car...The Previous owners had already changed the front and rear tail lights with the exact lights. I truly believe these updated/ungraded lights are awesome.. If you didn't know the difference, you would think they were stock, it truly makes the car....

Hey Lyle I have a problem with my 2001 C5 my problem is it appears both my front turn signal plugs are bad ( They went out at different times) if i play with the bulbs they work yes tried new bulbs and then fail... not bulb, it's connection between bulb and connector...any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Lyle, love the information, but this seems like an idea that needs a little more refinement. The manufacturer needs to design a watertight adapter or else you're going to be plagued by this problem forever.

C4 is much better looking than the c5

I had Lyle replace the stock headlights & park lights on my C5 with LED's, and oh man what a difference!

I changed my tail lights in my C5 to your led kit and plan to change my front ones too. One question. Is the hyper flasher required bc they work just fine. Or can i just stick with the factory flasher?

Replaced every exterior light in our C5 with parts from C&S Corvettes - only had one question and Lyle answered back in a few minutes - add a hyper flash and these cars look much more modern and safer driving

I just got a c5 a few days ago and I have noticed as a drive the oil pressure will stay up and at idle it’s drops down a good amount but not to 0 could this be the problem?

Hi Lyle, do you happen to know if these improved visors also ship overseas? European C5 owner here, and I'd like to undo the visor delete one of the previous owners has done, as driving with the soft top down, the sun often shines right over both the windshield and my sunglasses.
