My first and only attempt was a disaster also. I can make any bread, but not croissants. Really miss your long videos. Do you plan to go back to making longer videos?

you know you could try to add vegetable shortening as a replacement for butter n fold it in the dough

@@Oliver-gl6ltgod did not made them for us to be used. The bible actually states that all being are to be treated equally and only when people started dying on Noah's Arch God gave his ok to eat some of the animals that were already too weak but otherwise fine aka not sick and ridden with worms. It's clearly stated that it's a *for now* situation. And humans came off that shitty worm ridden boat and were like "well he did give his ok once... So let's start mass breeding and over eat and be greedy and profit off one animal as much as we can no matter how cruel I have to be. God literally saved them in a one-off situation and humans, that kept stating how much the love him and how loyal they are and that will obey all his laws decided to commit every death sinn god has ever stated. It's disgusting. They put themselves over god. Another thing forbidden to do.

*YUMMY!!!!* ❤❤❤ And - we always might fail, even at things we *are* good at... it's called *being human.* 😀
Gordon Ramsey is standing on the shoulders of dozens of fabulous, creative, vegan chefs. This is essentially the same bacon that I’ve been making for 15 years. It is maddening that a chef who has had nothing but distain for the vegan community is stealing their recipes for clicks.

I somehow do not understand vegans. Why do they eat no animal products? I can understand if someone from moral reasons does not want to kill animals to eat them. I even sometimes, when cooking meat, have a small sticking feeling in my mind that some living thing lost a life for me. But the historic reality is that when the homosapiens started to eat meat, and learnt to cook it, the brain size increased, the endurance increased, that lead to humans develop to what we are today. If vegans do not eat meat for moral reasons, why do they try to make vegetarian foods that imitate real meat? I love vegetables and when I cook vegetable meals I do not try to make them taste like meat. Also why bother to create all kinds of artificial cheeses etc products when they do not taste at all like the original. Mainly they look like but do not have the taste. They are using weird compounds that are expensive, more than the real food they refuse to eat. I could try to make ricepaper "bacon", not as a substitute, but a snack as itself, flavored crispy rice paper. Also many of these vegan copy foods take a lot of time to make, far more than it would take to make just a real healthy vegetable meal. I am a good cook, not only in my own mind, but I am too much grounded to cook and eat normal foods instead creating artificial chemisty in blender trying to copy something it never will be.

I now have the courage to start making more plant-based meals. With groceries, especially meat being so expensive it's comforting to know I can make these wonderful protein rich meals at home. You've taken the mystery out of cooking vegan. Thank you so much! Oh, could you make some vegan desserts as well?

One way I can save my fresh herbs if I don't use them all is to lay them out flat on a lined baking sheet, set my oven on a very low temp (warm-120 degrees F.) and let them go for several hours until they are completely dried out. I either seal them in a Mason jar or if you have a vacuum sealer, you can seal them in small packets and label. Less expensive than buying them in little jars at the market.

Why add pasta water ? Butter or extra virgin olive oil is way better to make it rich and decadent. I would add a little heavy cream, too. Also, garlic should go in the pan last. You want flavor and essence of garlic but you don't want it to burn - soft cooked.
