Can i buy some tea from you. Or where to get the best Oolong Teas
@EdwardQu3 ай бұрын
Where are you located? I guess local store would be the best and I heard Mei is good but they ship from Britain. Chinese stores can be good, but you def want to try before big purchase.

The pear duanni teapot... Might you know where I can find one like it? I have been searching, found several in the general shape, but not handmade, or without those wonderful twig elements... Any help would be so appreciated.

I watched another video of tea pots and there was one that looked like it was made from purple clay with the gold highlighted details and it was a dragon headed turtle. The person said it was not purple clay and they think it was made/carved from stone. Could stone be a better material to make tea pots out of to preserve the flavor of tea because it will not expand/contract like clay does? I also understand that purple clay tea pots can absorb the flavour of tea to improve the flavor so that is a good reason to use purple clay and it also doesn't expand/contract as much as other clays. It seems that stone would be a good or even better material to make tea pots with, however the purple clay looks beautiful but there are also stones that can mimic that color and can also have unique colors and visual chacteristics. The only reason I would ask if stone is better is because it is not as limited of a natural resource as purple sand/purple clay. I'm not really sure if it's stone or clay but in the comments a person says it's stone. This is the video of that tea pot: kzfaq.info6Rcj_htVT_g?si=Yx_tfKJmPRU_cTdR

Great video, very informative. I liked the poem. I never knew chinese nobles liked purple. I just thought they liked gold. European nobles also liked purple.

Hello edward, i need a steer in the right direction. There is this boba shop .. that i've been going to. They use tea bag btw. So the notes... iono how they do it... but this black tea is unlike any other tea places I've had... This tea is a very dark color tea...i will say dark golden brown and it contains strong notes of a DARK chocolate hits you right away... very nutty as well and the after taste is like a mild fermentation... not that sour or "astringent?" .. it doesn't leave any weird feelings on my teeth at all...Do you know what type of of black tea is being used??

First time commenting. I have a _zhū ní lóng dàn hú_ (朱泥龙蛋壶) for _Qīng Xiāng Dòng Dǐng_ Oolong Tea (清香冻顶乌龙茶), and two _zǐ ní piān gǔ hús_ (紫泥偏古壶) for _wǔ yí lǎo shuǐ xiān_ (武夷老水仙) and _jí pǐn ròu guì_ (极品肉桂), respectively. I'm planning on getting a _zǐ shā hú_ (紫砂壶) for either vintage _shēng pǔ ěr_ (生普洱) or vintage _shú pǔ ěr_ (熟普洱); could you tell me which color of _zǐ shā_ (紫砂) would be most suitable? Cheers from Japan.

Great video, clear and detail. This video answer my question,when i visit museum majapahit (trowulan,indonesia) there are some ceramic from dinasty Song, yuan, Ming, Qing. Majapahit kingdom was trading with china at that time. The ceramic is unique, strong,still in good shape even centuries underground. So choose material, lot of proccess and ageing the clay

Fermented Shou Mei is made of a few years old Shou Mei which belongs to White tea family. Then it went through a “发花” process, which is common when producing dark tea. This is the post fermentation process and it will develop "golden flower"in tea as you can see from both the dry leaves and infused tea. I regard it as sort of a knockoff for decades aged white tea. But it is a balenced combination of white tea and dark tea.
