lightsabers do bounce though. Luke's bounced off a railing when he fought Vadar. I agree, this is way cooler.. but I'm just saying, it has precedent. I think i saw somewhere that jedi can tune their lightsabers to do different things as well. So that may be a factor, oner they never showed due to bad story telling

God this show was abysmal

I saw a video the other day some kid made to criticize people for saying sabers don't bounce. He showed the Luke vs Vader scene where Vader's armor blocks Luke's saber and how the solid metal walls on the death star didn't get sliced... I think he severely overestimated the strength of stormtrooper armor

actually makes is slick that he quickly shut his saber off so that she didn't have to witness the gore :P

Disney trying to be appeal to as many age groups as possible is why Star Wars struggles. It's had some really good shows but they consistently fail with lightsabers

A few things about this. Lightsabers do and can bounce. watch the three original movies. Luke literally hits Vader's arm with his saber and it bounces off. Also, Obi wouldnt chop a dudes head off in front of a child

Its either that or he was trying to hit the head but he misssed so probably he wanted to do it properly thats probably why it looked like it bounced off

The show would have been a lot better if it was actually about kenobi.

Personally I just chalked it up to the idea that the stormtroopers in the inquisitor fortress would likely have more lightsaber resistant armor than your standard trooper, but if that's actually what they were going for then they should have differentiated it better, 'cause as it stands, even though it makes Obi-Wan look more brutal than he would normally be, this is still better than the weird effect the show actually did.

respectifully... lightsabers DO bounce off of obejcts and armor just look at the OG trilogy... in the first luke and vader fight luke hits vader in the arm and it bounces off... it also bounces off railings in the return of the jedi

Just remembered this project and felt like I had to come back to this video to remind myself it's still coming, this isn't a hassle comment or anything just really hyped for it and wanting to hype myself back up kind of thing take your time as all good things need time looking forward to an update whether that be in a few days a few weeks or several months away. I know it'll be worth the wait.

I can not express how hyped I am for this project, definitely my most anticipated project regarding Star Wars right now. When this comes out I’m probably going to invite some friends so we can watch this masterpiece together. Take your time, what you are doing is amazing!
