I was in shock when I opened this. I didn’t realize he passed. I always turned to his videos for guidance. He was one of my favorites. So much talent. What a sweet man and so so loving and brave. He truly will be missed by so many people and communities. ♥️

Dear Derek, it breaks my heart to learn about your "transition". And yet, there is comfort knowing you are now there as an ancestor, still spreading your self-energy. Dear Derek, you may never get to read this in this life however it is important for me to say them. your words really landed on me today. I am struggling with the chaos in the world right now and hearing that the man message in IFS is to fully trust ourselves though our parts. I honour your journey, your strength, courage and mostly your humility.
