one thing that Pontiac is different than the other GMs is the fuel pump location on the Pontiac it on the driver side and the Olds and Buick is on the passenger side on 6.6L engines same year.

I definitely wouldn’t call him a troll. And the intention was not to embarrass, but educate. Terry McGean is an incredible wealth of knowledge. On average, over the past two years, I have been at Hemmings one to two days a week shooting for the Hemmings Garage show, whether it’s the main show or Overtime, and every time I visit, I make sure to learn something new from him.

That frame looks 90% better than most 10 year old trucks in the northeast. Unless he is not showing rust holes it looks more than pretty solid to me. The metal looks really really solid besides a little surface rust.
