I was skeptical when I first watched this but tried it. And OMG I’m so glad I did! Thank you for sharing this amazing way to cook a whole chicken in the ninja! Have a fantastic day and thanks for the great dinner idea! I did use canned veggies instead of frozen (it’s all I had on hand) but they worked great. Also I used russet potatoes washed and roughly sliced.

I tried them and really enjoyed the process.I think next time I'll use salted butter on them as the taste was rather bland. But I do intent to make then again. Thank you so much!

I make mine with plain greek yogurt swapped for the mayo for some extra protein . I also use garlic powder as the seasoning but I am definitely going to try the old bay . That sounds delicious!

I enjoy a good pimento cheese sandwich and on crackers. We sent our daughter a Masters meal package that included their Pimento cheese, chips and moon pies that she and some friends enjoyed while watching the Masters. I had a couple of pimento cheese sandwiches myself while watching the Masters. Glad you made some from scratch using Dukes. Sure looks good. 😊

I grew up in NJ, and my mom used to always have pimento cheese in the house. However, I think she must have purchased it in NYC on her weekly visits to her favorite specialty cheese shop, because I remember it in a jar with a fancy label. I was just a kid at the time - so I am going back 5 decades😂. I do remember her associating the sandwich with the Masters. She always paired it with a couple of thick tomato slices on the side (she would add salt to the tomatoes). She was always so happy when she had the sandwich and side of tomato slices. Thanks for the history lesson, recipe and nostalgic memories❤ Have you tried the Masters egg salad sandwich? That would be a great video for you to share too, if you like egg salad.

What temperature does it cook the meat to? My Hot Logic only cooks to 150 degrees..Shouldn’t it go to 160 at least?
@kathyottersen8100
@kathyottersen8100 3 ай бұрын
Yes, it should cook hotter than that all of the ones i have reach at least 165. I would contact hot logic about that. Maybe they would replace it.

Thanks for your coment. I used 3 large cloves of garlic and about and inch of a piece of ginger root. But you should use more, if you love the taste of either. Thanks for your question.

@@kathyottersen8100 thank you. I’m learning to cook more vegetables since I’m not a big if at all meat eater. I’m learning to make some Asian inspired dishes and it’s learning curve so I’m looking forward to making your recipe. All of the spices and ingredients are new to me.
