Very superb reaction Nate, You have voiced exactly what I have observed in the 12 to 13 years I have followed Angelina I have been astonished by her abilities and flat-out professionalism regardless of age. I'm 79 years old and have never done this with any artist I grew up in a time of plenty when it came to entertainers and vocalists with an abundance of them being very good to outstanding but no one has affected me as Angelina has, she is truly a prodigy and a gift from the universe for all.

Hi Nate. Greetings from Trinidad. Congratulations for this unique and remarkable presentation, to which you obviously devoted a great amount of time, effort and love. Just a few comments. The persons who attack, denigrate and insult reactors are not Angelina fans, since they clearly have no clue who Angelina is. Because if they did, they would know that with her kind, gentle and loving spirit, she would NEVER support or condone that type of behaviour. She does not need defending. (Although being, as she surely is, one of this world's most precious, priceless and critically vital "resources" 😊, she does need protection, with which her family and support system do a wonderful job). Secondly, I absolutely agree with you concerning people saying that she sounds like, or is "channelling", some other singer; you summed it up beautifully and brilliantly when you said, "You can't bottle up someone like Angelina in a container that small." As soon as she sings her first note, you KNOW it's ANGELINA... NOT Amy Winehouse, NOT Billie Holiday, NOT Nora Jones, or anyone else, regardless of how much she may have been influenced by these great singers. Just one observation. I think "simple" is possibly the last word that you can apply to Angelina's voice. Even in the example you gave ("What A Difference A Day Makes"), the multilayered, multitextured complexities of her voice shine through, augmented by her close to perfect pitch and her amost flawless, professional level, jazz-influenced phrasing, timing and use of vibrato. Perhaps what makes it seem simple is that all of this comes so naturally and effortlessly to her, even at 8 years old! Oh, and by the way I, for one, LOVE her perfect imperfections! Thank you again for this amazing video.

Hi Nate. Greetings from Trinidad. Beautiful, but not unexpected, reaction when it comes to Angelina. To be clear, I adore Adele. She is a phenomenal songwriter, singer and performer, one of the greatest ever. The difference is that when Adele sings a song, my mind is blown away. On the other hand, when Angelina sings a song, my heart and soul are blown away. Way, way more than ANY other artist I have ever experienced, Angelina has the ability to effortlessly squeeze every atom of emotion and feeling out of every song she sings, and gently deliver it straight into our hearts and souls. How can we NOT want to listen to her, not just once or twice, but over and over and over again, all day long? My greatest hope for her is that the entire world would wake up to her, and understand and appreciate the immutable fact that she is one of the greatest gifts that God has ever bestowed upon this earth. What an incomparable blessing she is!

Marvelous. Tell you this. I saw her live last year. Kongsberg july 7th 2022. How was it like? Don't ask. Nate, I’m so sorry to hear about your accident, but also glad to hear about your miraculous recovery; I’m sure it has given you a new appreciation of life. I’m also gratified to hear that your accident hasn’t turned you off cycling; it is such a great activity for body and soul. I loved your reaction; you always give very emotionally deep reactions to Angelina and are able to put at least some of the feelings that I’m sure many of us share into words. Like you I’ll also be making my way to Portsmouth in September in order to experience Angelina, and my two daughters will be joining my husband and me from their respective colleges in New Hampshire and Vermont. I’ve tried exposing them all to Angelina and my youngest daughter has actually added some of her originals to her playlist, but overall all three of them think I’m obsessed and fan girling over her, and I keep telling them to just wait till they’ve experienced her live😊
