I was trying to open the back of my keyboard without realizing that there are 10 screws holding the back in place. I was forcing my way in and damaged the board near LCTRL key. LCTRL key was not responding and I thought I needed to buy a new keyboard but I took a wire and bridged the pin from LCTRL all the way to F12 (had to look for it assuming it's different on every keyboard) and just like that it worked. Thank you sir.

Just fried my Pi. dont ever connect the 5V on the relay board to your Pi. I now use the 5V and GND pin on the relay board to power my arduino, which is receiving serial commands from another Pi I have laying around. The downside is you gotta code twice - use AI to generate that 😅 It was my own fault, I should've tested the power pins on the relay board.

In order for the relay board to work for a Raspberry Pi 4 you must ensure the inputs are active HIGH. Most boards out there are active or trigger LOW. If you have a active LOW board you will need to place a Darlington sink drive ahead of the relay board inputs. Use something like a ULN2803. You will need two of them, cost about $1.25 each.

I was meaning to do this myself on my raspberry pi, but it's nice to have everything there so as a first project I can play around with something already done. I wrote an android app that didn't work to do this. I'm pretty sure I had the logic right, but there must have been something wrong somewhere along the way. I've found a nice app that does this very well now, so I've been able to resurrect my atomic watch - same as they one you displayed. The app is : "radio watch synch" on android, and I believe it's on ios as well.
