Thank you. Some people in the comments say you can remove the button without opening the panel, is that true? Considering you have to press the little tabs to release the button, is it possible to remove the hazard button without opening the panel?

Great job man. You did it on the car. Most of the KZfaq videos shows it been done using a bench vice.

5mm allen key, however not too sure what spanner. I'd recommend keeping an adjustable spanner in your toolbox. They not too expensive either. 👍

I also notice on your video, as in my case too, that the light of the button is not working anymore after the change. It is the same for the AC button, even both are functional, the light is not working, any idea why?

Your camera work is shocking ! first part your camera is behind what your doing and pointing straight at your crotch.. not a pretty sight. Camera is continuously SHAKING making it very hard to follow. When the camera is under the vehicle facing you the light in the back ground shines directly into the camera making at times impossible to see what your doing. Sound quality is terrible to say the least. Your excuse at the start of your tutorial that you don't have the right jack stands really should of told you that maybe you should of beg, stole or borrowed some to do this work being that you have a truck that weighs in excess of 2000kg's. In saying this you have the knowledge but seriously lack camera and sound skills. Personally I can nearly forgive the terrible camera and sound of your video but I can't believe that you decided to even attempt this repair without jack stands The title of your video should be "Do as I say not as I do."

All good, but it's better to drain the gearbox before you take the drive shaft off. Also, refilling is done via a hose from above the engine bay using gravitation. When I did similar work I took only one bolt off from suspension to move the wheel away.

Thank you so much for this video! quick question at 16:00 you removed the 6 bolts (14mm I think) , what are the lengths of those bolts as all mine have been sheared (can't unscrew them from the front)

My question is, as you popped the wires through the front anyway, can you go in from the hazard button instead of opening up the facia? I'd rather fuck up the button I'm throwing out to get in than scratch and lose clips for going in through the whole front!!

It looked like it, although I've been trying to pull the little back bit from the original switch through the back way (under that bit of the dashboard) without much success lol. 😅 I'd love to try it this way!
