If u use two propane torches pointed at each other u can get those wrist pins our super easy without over heating anything

How do I check the crankshaft and make sure it's not bent from my piston breaking
@pjbj33702 ай бұрын
You should have supported the side of the rod as well to prevent possible bending of the rod

Were any of those wrist pins loose or wobbling in the sleeve just curious ??

Your supposed to heat up the piston and rod and freeze the pin and then quickly assemble….. or heat up the entire assembly then knock out piston pin while hot.

Lmao. Reusing bearings and beating on rods are a sure way to be tearing it back down...and oven cleaner. No wire brusbing

If there's anything I've learned from this project, it would be to buy a remanufactured engine and trade mine as the core. Worth it in the long run
