Yes they have totally screwed all of us. I'm in the middle of a back and forward with their CS at the moment. First they say your firmware isn't up to date and email you instructions on how to manually update it, Then an email on how to pair it. When that doesn't work, they ask for the serial number, and a photo of the serial number on the drone (not that they don't trust you, they just need proof you own the drone). Then they ask for proof of purchase (yeah right!) I bought mine in 2018 but still had the case slip with the price sticker on it so sent that. Last email I had was asking for the actual receipt as what I sent them didn't have the year of purchase on it. I've asked them to stop playing games, and to either fix the problem or send me a replacement drone. I don't hold out much hope. I even took out a GoPro subscription to see if that would help my case, but so far it hasn't. At the end of the day they know what they've done. They grounded these drones deliberately just as covaids started, so maybe there's some things they don't want us to see!!

Mine still works as of 01/02/2023. I updated the last software they gave out and honestly never have any issues.

So Go Pro is the last one, releases software updates for the KARMA drones that destroy the drone and then stand up and say the support has expired. You pay 1500 euros for a drone that is destroyed by GoPro firmware and GoPro does nothing. All I can say was before GoPro's products and GoPro's customer support. NEVER BUY GOPRO PRODUCTS AGAIN. I will hang mine from the ceiling as a reminder never to buy GoPro stuff again.

What is your controllers updated to? My karma drone is v2.50 still works and I have a gopro hero7 black. My controller is telling me there's an update for my controller but haven't updated it cause I don't wanna go thru what you all are going thru.

Oh no I just updated mine and it doesn't pair anymore. Got it as a graduation gift never expected that it won't pair after the update. 😭

That so odd. I’ve always updated mine to the latest firmwares and they’ve always worked. Do you have the latest firmware on all four devices? Karma Drone, Stabiliser, Camera, and controller? For me it’s: Drone: 2.50.1 Controller: 2.50.1 Stabiliser: 2.00 HERO6 Black: 2.10

It happened to my drone also it just can't be started anymore,I can't turn it on, and I bought a gopro karma after my dji phantom disappeared after the first flight that was years a ago . I did not know that such a story is with this,(update) I thought it was a old drone only and I also have everything from gopro all cameras stabilizers everything

Are you saying my controller will never work again? Because this is getting out of hand…. I’m going to contact them too, I bought mine brand new at Best Buy. I can’t use my drone at all right now. Controller literally is stuck on go pro screen.

Yeah I pulled mine out 10/21 it had worked before now it won’t pair or turn on the stabilizer. No way to reset the drone because of no sd card slot.

Have you tried connecting your gimble/camera to the HandHeld and update the firmware in that, using the Quick Application? Try it.....

I have the same problem with my drone they are able and they don't help you tell that they no longer have to replace them and that they can't do anything that they don't have technicians to fix them

I’m I’m the same boat. I loved gopro until last month when the 7 flooded (waterproof my ass) and now this.

I think that they can do nothing because the drone has been gave not more updatable due the last firmware, so any correction of it would be unuseful , they sholud reitire all for repair it in gopro laboratory . Sorry , it will never happen unless they are forced by a judge to open a division dedicated to resolving the fault
