I have the custom dynamics tri setup back there. Basically uses their clusters inserted in then I have to run a wire to the brake light. I had tapped into the brake line previously when I was using the night rider light. So just had to tie into that. Yes I think it wasn't bad .I think the design of the newer is better. Why ? Due to the illumination around the outer edge. That will help to shine light up n down, and not just out back. This increases visibility even more. Thanks for watching, andstay bright.

I definitely agree, when I bought the bike it was just the bottom brake light nothing else. People used to get really close, not anymore.

There are passing lamps on it. You can see them I'm my latest overview. I never did do a video on it though. It did come with decent directions. This is the yamaha factory system. I did change the lamps though to a led unit. They work very nice. They are a great addition for extra light and visibility

They changed up their site, you may have to call them. They need to fix the yamaha section. A lot of our stuff is left out.

Yea, I never over tighten those screws , and why I like a screwdriver like this to get them out with out damage. I haven't had the bike out yet, but the light seemed to be brighter than the previous led. I attribute this mainly due to the lights on the outer surrounding. The vstar is a great bike, and south the flash it's even better. It depends on what you want out of riding though. If you're looking for community... then go HD ... lots of Aftermarket n events n stuff like that. I'm not much of a "fit in" kind of guy, so that stuff doesn't matter much to me. Just jump on my bike n ride. The vstar is amazing for that n why I love it so much.

@@dbest1aVlogs Ivan's flash was one of my first winter upgrades. It definitely smoothed the bike out, especially at low speed. I also put on a Memphis Shades batwing to replace the tall stock shield and went back to the stock exhaust. PO had put Speedsters on, which sounded great at idle, but they were obnoxiously loud when you got on the throttle.

I've noticed that with this motor. Free flowing exhaust have a Really loud tone.

Excellent video, not to hijack ya but IME Cobra Slip On's sound loud but not too loud (sound great!). This bike came with the Cobra.....nice!!!

No I did not install the resistors. If I were to install them it might be tough to find a spot. I have no space at the headlight, no space at the light bar, and under the seat is a bit tight. I guess if I really wanted to , I could find a way. Thanks for watching.,

Oh it flashes fast. Just may be hard to tell through the camera. I probably should look into it.

@@dbest1aVlogs most of the time a cheap 2 pin flasher relay off Amazon will fix the hyper flash with no resistors. Might wanna check it out 👍
