Please READ this box for more info. This is a high intensity fat burning workout which aims to burn up to 300 calories in 20 minutes. Perform 8 exercises in 8 minutes without stopping then rest for a minute and repeat the whole circuit again. If you can, push yourself for the third circuit to.
This video will guide you from the beginning - 3 mins warm up, high intensity circuit training and finish off with quick stretches.
Each exercise is to be performed for 45 secs, rest for 15 secs then move straight on to the next exercise until you've completed the whole circuit.
Exercises:
1) Jump Squat
2) Push-ups
3) Burpees
4) Mountain Climber
5) Lunges
6) Plank & Push-ups
7) Dips
8) Crunches with Leg Extension
There are lots of jumping involve, so before you start this workout, check that you're physically fit.

I just did this, two rounds all the way through and used a heart rate monitor to track my calories burned. At 135 pounds at 5'7 I burned 284 calories. Great workout, just wish I felt it more in my abs.

Try to exercise a little every day and you will start to lose weight, never give up! Remenber that there are a lot of people going through the same things as you.. and doesn't matter if this sounds cliche but we are more than our bodies shows, you are more and who doesn't see that it's a fool

Joanna never fails to deliver. I have been going through a lot of emotional distress. I was continually exercising for around five days a week from August to around November, then I had to go through some distressing situations which took a toll on my mental health. I am slowly getting back. Joannas workouts are always difficult so l was holding back. I am glad I did it today and that too both the rounds. Practising Joannas workouts makes your body physically stronger. Even though I had a break, I could complete it only because I had done a lot of her workouts in the previous months. Thank you joanna. I am a plum girl, not fat, but plum. But it's already enough for people to say me fat when they see me. I am also the type of girl who doesn't believe in "diets" because I also experienced what you mentioned, that is after i stop that diet plan, my weight goes up so fast even when I'm just eating my usual amount when Im not dieting. Then I come to realise that by "dieting" and eating less just shrinks my eating amount and my weight just maintains without going down because my body is getting accustomed to that amount of food. That's why after I stop my diet, i eat a little more than what I did during the dieting periods and my weight shoots up, because my body is already accustomed to that less eating amount and this usual amount becomes a new amount to my body already.I don't know why but I can't seem to lose weight even when I exercise a lot. I am an athlete and I am off to practice for a minimum of 5 days per week. And of course, tough practises shoots up my appetite and I tend to eat more, by my weight increases as well. I followed my friends and families advice by eating my usual amount after a tough exercises, but all I am able to achieve is a constant weight. Can you give me any advice on what else I can do? I didn't eat unnecessary junk foods usually, only once a month and also not too much. By the way, I really loved your channel and videos. Keep it up!! You are a true inspiration~

Try to build up some muscle love. Muscle mass burns cals even when your body is resting. Some ppl reach a certain point where they stop losing bodyfat if all they do is cardio. So try to lift some weights to tone up. It doesnt have to be extremely heavy. If you do lighter weights ans more reps you will be fine. And dont worry you wont look like a bulky guy lol you dont have enough Testosterone in your system to get all big and look like a guy. So this will take another month or two but you should pass that limit of bodyfat loss of yours doing some nice weight lifting. Make sure you start off doing booty and leg workouts first because this is the biggest muscles on your body.. and big muscles burn bigger amount of calories, even after your workout

I could only do one set today. I'm surprised I made it through. I had trouble with the last workout with the crunches and extensions, but hopefully I can make it through 2 sets after I keep at it. Thanks for such an awesome vid. I'm exhausted but I feel great.

Hey, I am wondering if there is any benefit/harm to do this workout 2 times in a day? For example in the morning after waking up, and then later in the afternoon or evening. Of course the benefit would be more fat loss, but since rest apparently is an important part of working out (to let muscles recover and repair properly), will that give them enough rest?

I wanted to do one of your workouts again, and I couldn't do it because of the pain hehe, I hope I can lose weight, how much weight should I lose for the perfect number? I'm like.. 154 lbs (I used a converter so I'm like 70 kg) I'm 13 and my height is about 1.60 or so, thankyou~

you should try to go at your own pace at first. You don't have to keep up with her obviously she has done this for years so her body is use to it. For pushups I do half on my knees and try to do half on my toes so it's not as extreme. You can also modify the burpees by not jumping.

nidhi chopra hello! first thing, trying to do this every for 6 times in a row wasn't a sustainable thing to do. So i did this once every 2 days. I managed to lose 1 kg, but ive been binge eating, so im sure the results would have been better.

This is ab-solutely great for colder seasons. Your body stores more fat than normal in colder seasons. But this gave me all the confidence. I switch this workout with just one of my other routines a week!

The only one I can't do yet are the burpees. They put so much strain on my knees the pain is unreal. I'm down 50lbs so hopefully sometime in the next 50 I'll be able to do them.

Exactly 3yerars back I found this work out then I started doing your workout video & stopped going to Jim. I much healthy fit & looking slim than when I was going to Jim. Even my trainer was asking the secret bcz most of Jim member were double up in size after stopped going to Jim except me. Of course credit goes to you. Thanks. Bcz of variety of workout I don't get bored. Also the way you teach I just love it.

i don't think that this program actually burns up to 300kcal in 20 mins! it's so much!!! the maximum is 150-200! you're crazy!

she says up to 300 calories, which means it's dependant on one's weight and body type. typically, the bigger/fatter - the more you will burn. within reason. but that means you have to do the work out properly.

Try it yourself and see if it doesn't feel like 300 calories burned. even if it's not 300 cals burned right away, interval training has an afterburn effect where your body continues to burn calories 48 hours after the workout. This is due to your body left in a state of extreme exhaustion/recovery.

***** Question, If I'm 14, and I do this 3 times a weak with other cardio on the other 2 days (I usally burn up to 180-200 on those 2 days, plus strength training in the leg, on the other three I do this plus arm, and ab and back workout.) Will I lose fat to where my ab's and other muscles are visible?

i like your videos joanna. i got one question...does it actually burns 300 calories? will you tell me how you measured it? cz running on a trade mill in 5.5 km/h speed for 30 minutes makes me burn only 150 calories and i feel so exhausted..if you can ensure that it actually burns 300 calories then im gonna quit running and do this every day...btw, do i need to do it every single day? plz let me know..and thanks for your amazing videos :)

+Munia Pakhi i think this does burn 300 cal as we are using most of our muscles instead of running just the lower part muscles. but i am not sure. that's what i heard from other people..

+Nur Faizah - you might be right.. cz when i run my legs feel cramped and i can feel the burn in my waist but it does not do anything for the upper portion of the body...i have to do workout for back and arms separately after running... so in that case, there is a chance this workout is more effective than just running...thanks :)

Total respect J Soh. Even the fit girls in our bootcamp do pushups on their knees. And that includes those who know run 10km under 55mins. Keep up the good work. Really like the lunge/leg raise variation.

Day 3 Complete... Still sore from day 1 and 2 lol! Only doing 2 sets and can start to see a minor tone on my upper abs behind my flab ;) Feeling like I don't have to pause every minute....wait I still do nvm lol soon tho.. These jump squats are killer especially when I combine a bit of jumprope since I can't combine any other cardio.

Ever since I was little I have been in intense sports. At 11 I have a 6 pic and I was so skinny. But then I had to stop sports cause I got got cancer.
