finally at the end of the build series, i show u guys how i pain my engines, 1st- hit it with some brake cleaner 2nd- tape it up 3rd- 3 coats of primer 4th- 3 coats of pain 5th- 3 coats of clear and final let sit for 10min then remove the tape. last and final is stand back and admire your hard work

Cute little girl I remember when my kids were that little good times anyway sometimes I get real creative and put all the intake bolts in a piece of cardboard and paint them black mostly before installing and do that with other bolts a;so I want to pop out I know it's crazy but it's nice when done and looks better I think

Question why did you put the top.and top Center I thought supposed dot-to-dot on the timing chain

Great job cuz I'm An outboard mechanic started working on a 96/97 mercruiser 305 I'm rebuilding it (what a mission to get it out of a searay 21.5 😮) when I checked the oil it was 50/50 fuel oil mixed in the pan guess some kept trying to start it over and over until with the choke stuck open so the gas it got through the rings it's nuts half a 5 gallon bucket was in the pan. I FIGURE it was leaking because oil from the balancer seal or timing cover and oil was so thin... can't tell yet anyways again great job looks nice 👍 cheers from Miami

Did you drive a new lower dipstick tube into the block? I didnt see one in there when you put your oil pan on.

You mentioned you're going to install the distributor. What happened there? At some point I'm sure you did, but did you videotape it?

I haven’t started the engine yet, I’ve been too busy working on my impala, I did drop it into my 1988 Malibu ski boat which was why I built it, but imma start making videos on the ski boat and I will be sure to record the first start up
