U had me at Coyote New Edge!!

I'm still so jealous of the lifestyle that y'all have. I have a garage, but I can't even fit my 612 whp Civic coupe into it. I wish I have a big garage with a lift and could do whatever I wanted to do to create content. I realize that you don't get to do whatever you want to do, but you know what I mean. I am primarily an import guy, but I am a big fan of the Coyote, Voodoo, and I have ALWAYS wanted a Fox body. My dream is a later Fox body (90-93 GT) with a Voodoo and a 6 speed manual, with later plans for forced induction and a built engine. I understand the reasons behind LS swaps in a Fox body, but I just can't get down with the cross brand contamination. It just makes so much more sense to turbo or supercharge a Coyote when it comes to bang for buck. I'm not saying that I don't like all other generations of Mustangs, I love almost all of them (except for the Mustang II and Cobra II body styles...ewww) and my all-time favorite would be the 64.5 and 65 first generation Mustangs. I'd love to have one with either a 429, or a turbo Coyote.

I'm digging all the simplicity of this build. Reuse something if you can, avoid work if you can. Your gonna make me like the New Edge cars after all.

Back in the day my buddy had a SN95 with the last year for the 5.0 (1995) and he had a Kenne Belle supercharger on it with the smallest pulley he could find and that car made 600 whp. From a dead stop that thing would stand up on one wheel. It was so sick.

Thank you Foxcast for doing this! I have a super clean 02 GT zinc yellow that I've done everything too as far as engine mods and suspension wheels and tire bolt-ups. In another couple months it will no longer have be my daily and I wanna tear into it. I've been debating building the 2V but after comparing costs-the Coyote is the clear winner in cost and power advantages over a 2V. Following!

I'll save you guys some aggravation, the oil pan will hit the steering rack,you can overcome this with the k member spacers from upr,or get the "swap" pan from moroso or canton, the headers might not fit with stock k member either. 👍

Absolutely love the return style fuel upgrade information. This would also be great for a 87-95 5.0 pushrod conversion. Still thinking coyote though.

You can use a bulkhead fitting and a LS swap fuel filter kit for the fuel system too if you are on a budget

Have you guys ever done a sn95 coyote swap... particularly in 97 Cobra??? How much does something like that run ballpark

If you run into a problem with the ABS, could you run a 94/95 GT ABS setup? From what I understand it's basically a stand alone setup.

All 2v mustang engines are 6 bolt but some Windsor 2v truck motors had 8 bolt flywheel. It is still a cast crank so don't be fooled

Power steering and compressor will bolt up but you will have clearance issues with the kooks longtubes on a/c lines, my friend has done this swap, i can send pics and video of car in your Facebook messenger if you want? And all the factory gauges work in his car

I have a 05' F-150 that was given to me by my father, when he had two severe strokes, and could no longer drive, a few years ago, and is now in a rest home....so the truck has sentimental value. Unfortunately it came with the Triton 5.4 3 valve....I have ran into timing issues, replaced VVT solenoids, and countless coil packs. After just replacing the VVT solenoids, the truck on the way home from the garage started missing again. So the thing to do would be complete timing kit replacement, and Melling high pressure oil pump. The JEGS kit is 800.00, plus a out 1500.00 labor, into a terrible motor. I've been thinking about a swap, to a Coyote motor, or a 4.6 mustang GT motor instead. I'm in between jobs right now, and sunk my last 1000.00 in it......any advice would be great....looking for a bullet proof solution...that's not gonna cripple me financially. My father was a mechanic, unfortunately we no longer have a garage...so will have to source labor..

I'll wait for the Voodoo no, the Predator swap into a new edge. Now we're talking. Then you can have your manual transmission in a 3200 lb chassis without all of the nannies. Rear seat delete, tubular K-member and a few other light mods and you have a low 9 second(if you can drive) daily street car.

Hi i have 2000 mustang gt very clean only 93k. Km. No rust. And my brothers 2018 f150 5.0. Got totaled from back side so i am planning to swap my 2v. Can someone tell me that can i swap whole drivetrain include trans and motor. And what else can i take out from f150 which will fit in 2v?
