Howdy, y'all! My name is Mike and I absolutely love scavenging for free stuff, random treasures, lost valuables and other interesting artifacts. I mainly rock the dumpster diving scene but can be found digging through trash curbside as well as scavenging the river bottoms for lost treasures in the summer months. Join me on my epic voyages!

In a nutshell, I ‘m an avid dumpster diver, scrapper, picker, treasure hunter and underwater connoisseur. I prowl the city streets in search of dumpster loot, curbside treasures & scrap metal as well as scour the river bottoms for lost valuables during the summer months when I can scrounge up enough money for gas. Another great video Mike! Two things - Thing 1. how fun was that to be bustin up those glass pieces by brick!? Thing 2. That APC Manual would most likely be for a UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply). Full of Lead Batteries. Happy Scavenging! Looking closer at the Manual it says External Battery Pack. So absolutely it'll have some sweet lead batteries. Possibly it's a new one and they just chucked the manual but there could be other battery back ups there heads up! ow!

The Varian purge and trap auto analyzer was used for analyzing liquid samples contained in 40 ml glass vials. Of course it has been years since I worked in that life. But you can get a variety of metals out of the unit, brass, aluminum and stainless steel with the majority being aluminum. It will contain some precision parts like valves, motor or two maybe a gas regulator. We manufactured purge and traps as well as other analytical equipment (Varian’s competitor on some level but we also had value added agreement with them at one time to make equipment that would interface with their equipment). Advise staying out of that particular dumpster, some of the chemicals used in that line of work will not just ruin your day but a good chunk of your life. Wear nitrile gloves and eye protection when parting it out.

I love that dumpster stick hook! Lol! You are so hyper hilarious! I wonder, what would you do if someone was to jump out of a dumpster you flung open??? Could happen you know, like a friend punk’n you or maybe a homeless person sleeping for the night. Lol! Also, imagine how super quick you could scrap and dumpster dive if you drank the energy drinks! You’d be like a Super Hero Mike the Scavenger!

That stuff at 4 mins in is vinyl for a vinyl cutter...u can use it on cars, signs whatever ...it has the uv protectant and doesn’t fade in the weather like u would think...good stuff

I try and tell all the dumpster divers to do that if you're not scared of bed bugs slice open with a knife open them up see what's in there and I've come up big and that's something my old man taught me to do when we were walking down a Lisa's a little kid and the other one is take the cushions out and have the heaviest guy stand on them and someone else fish into the crack with their fingers I personally pulled out gold chains watches change an actual dollar bills great tip

26:50 with the right voltages on secondary U can get at least 10 bux for this transformer. +- 30V or higher for stereo amplifiers would sell it off right away
