I am definitely guilty of this and need to get better at journaling more frequently. It's such a hard habit for me to start for some reason. Thanks for the helpful video!

This is so useful! I tend to have a really hard time identifying the difference between the two, this makes it so much easier! And so many people would really benefit from a little journaling! Putting your thoughts on paper, no matter how disorganized, really makes a night and day difference.

That was really very well put! 👏 We were recently trauma dump on by our adult son who went through his first hurricane in Florida it was traumatizing to hear him 😢 but it's not his first time but frequency and intensity are increasing . He refused to breath , be calmed or believed brighter days were coming and became combative because he had a right to vent 😐? ? Sorry, lol not to dump on you but do u have any videos on how to deal with a person in the middle of unlimited trauma dump ?

Hey, I am 100% sure I have bpd and am waiting for an evaluation, I meet all the criteria, however one thing I never get is mad. I never like raise my voice or yell at anyone or get like angry at ppl (maybe irritated) but I never have this anger that like everyone seems to say is part of bpd.

Get a therapist. Lighten the load on your friends and family. That way, you can have space and time for the other person to get their needs met in the relationship. Meaning, you make room, make time (for the relationship, which is two people, not just all about you), and space to share love, joy, and have fun. It's not really a relationship if someone is just listening to your trauma.

Surprised that you’re borderline. I was married to a bpd. She was never this self honest and she tried to destroy my life It’s sad because we have a child together. She attacked me (has many times ) I left with our son. She called the police and said I attacked her I was arrested on her false report which always said she would do to me. The case against me is falling apart due to her history. It’s sad. Within 3 months, she has a new boyfriend. She has 3 different children from 3 different men. I’m number 3. New guy will be number 4. She’s 42. In a nutshell, she is not as emotionally/psychologically honest as you are Your insight is spot on. Is bpd a spectrum for lack of a better term

At least it is not dumping that I do. That much I have managed to grow after all. A small but important comfort. Now I just need to find out who I can trust. (Probably no-one. There is no way of telling.) Edit: Journal?! It can fall into the wrong hands! (That is, any other than mine.)

I think if you want this channel to grow, you should use graphics. It's hard to recommend a video like this to a parent or friend. The most informative and watchable videos lean more toward the "edutainment" side. I've learned a lot from your videos though, thank you.
