Very Good Video. I have a Air Blower that looks like that one... cannot read the data plate due to fading. I cuts off after about 2 minutes of operation, never trips a breaker. Are there thermal overload devices inside of these air blowers?

Started my Catalina Spa (Balboa cat200 controller) for the first time of the season (previously winterized) , and the breaker kept on tripping. Sure enough it was the blower, exactly like this video. I was about to spend 250$ on a new GFI Breaker for nothing (I think those are not refundable). Thanks for you great videos. I would love to buy parts from your store but since I live in Canada, the shipping costs would be prohibitive.

Hello! Setting up a Caldera Utopia Geneva I got used. The lady said it started tripping the breaker, and blew cold water on her back one time when it did it. It trips when the jets and the blower run. I’m assuming the blower got water in its line, is there any repair of this? Or just replace the blower?

Was there a significant amount of carbon dust build up from the brushes wearing out? If so, it may have been simple enough to clean the motor with forced air to clear the ground problem.

I am trying to remove my pump, XP2e, and the final anchor bolt/nut is rusted out. When turning the nut the whole bolt turns. It being in an awkward position, I have so far been unable to get both a grip on the bolt to keep it from turning and a grip on the nut. I am continuing to try, but was hoping you might have a good tip to help me out. Thanks!

Can a blower prevent your Jacuzzi from heating up?

Just a quick question. I have been troubleshooting a similar blower motor. The issue I'm having is that it starts some times and other times it does not. I can hear it engage in the control panel when powered up but most times it will not start and then for no reason it will. Any ideas? Thanks

I think I missed something...I get that there was a dead short between the white and ground...but how does cutting the wire and reconnecting fix it? is the short in that small bit cut off?
