A proper hone process uses a low grit to form channels to hold a layer of oil for the piston rings to aquaplane on. The high grit cuts off the peaks of the low grit honed shape to form plateaus with fine peak. The fine peaks wear away and wear into the rings, when both wear smooth they can slide having worn a perfect fit between them. Yours should be fine as it'll be a low revver and have plenty of thick oil with a wet sump.
