One of the things I've consistently noticed watching these videos, is just what a large percentage of "incidents" are basically caused by driving faster that is safe given the road/weather conditions. This is a case too point - those cars & lorries were driving as if it was a clear sunshine and a dry road; they did not give themselves any chance to avoid the pile-up.

In this case, the guy with the camera was the second idiot. This crash was so avoidable, but it seems the driver didn't even hit brakes and turned too little to have a chance at avoiding the incoming car.

I guess the sooner they're warned the sooner they can stop traffic somewhere well away from the pileup and then get ambulances in. On the other hand it might make very little difference and emergency services could have multiple truck drivers calmly calling them already.

Yup, I've seen clips where a car intentionally hits another car , and when the driver of the hit car gets out a group of people from the other car robs them of their car at gun point. Also seen groups of cars trying to rob people of their trucks.

At least here in WA state, carjacking with a deadly weapon is a class A felony with up to life imprisonment, while regular car theft is class B and only up to 10 years. At least one of these thieves was definitely brandishing a weapon while approaching the victim's vehicle. Therefore even if any of those assholes in the last clip managed to get hit, the provided dash camera footage would absolutely blow their defense out of the water. The victim's life was in danger, and they were getting away as fast as they could. They weren't intentionally swerving to hit any of them so much as to squeeze past the blocking car (which by being parked there intentionally to block traffic is considered "reckless driving", which is another law broken by the thieves). Those thieves would need one hell of a lawyer to counter the evidence we saw in the footage alone. That said, every state/country has different definitions of laws, as well as varying exceptions for allowance of dash cam evidence (but it is increasingly more accepted as time goes on), so fingers crossed they get caught and justice is rightfully served.

🤣🤣🤣 Though I believe the tow operator forgot to release the brake and shift it into NEUTRAL (N) on the vehicle (bus) they were attempting to tow. Hence why it wasn't moving.

I'm not gonna encourage anyone todo the same, but I think the problem here was that i didn't see the road. also the road could easily be damage or pats washed away so. If it was solid grounds I don't think that big truck would have had a problem with the stream though.
