The strange part is her denying the beep, if it wasn’t a big deal, a person would just explain the sound but she tried so heard to convince the audience there wasn’t a sound. That’s what makes it more suspicious than it should be.

My parents tormented me over my weight as a child. Stupid. Gross. Clumsy. All those things you said. I got very deep into an illness and lost weight in a very ugly way. They whole heartedly supported it. This illness has haunted me my whole life and when I get stressed my weight drops. The pandemic stresses me to the point that half my hair fell out and I shrank to nothing. My mother is now 70 and heavy and so she’s angry and all they do is tell me how awful I look. My point is, heavy or very thin, you just can’t win in this world we live in. Normal, well adjusted people don’t understand eds

i started watching eugenia when i was around 8 or 9. im 19 now. let me tell you, my tween/early-mid teen years was a whirlwind. i was really struggling with anorexia. do i think it may have stemmed from watching eugenia at such a young age? yeah, i do. i idolised her for years, until i realized that this is content that was negatively influencing me. i definitely shouldve had more internet supervision. from ages 12-16, restricted eating was mostly what my life consisted of. watching your videos now, it makes me realize how bad her content was for my brain when i was that young. if you're a parent, please try your best to age restrict the FUCK outta those phones and tablets. i'm recovered, her content/body type doesn't trigger me anymore, and i love watching your videos.

Jordy!! About the copyrighted music, you can extract the audio of your recording as an mp3, run it through a program called UVR (ultimate vocal remover), take the "vocal only" audio that it outputs, replace the audio of the initial video with the vocal only video, and you could put your own quiet royalty free music in the background of the recording :)

As a former anorexic, here's my take on it: No, I don't think it's right to ban Eugenia from social media, she has the right to be here despite of her eating disorder. BUT that SHOULD come with a counterclaim that she has to be HONEST with her followers about her condition (because she knows, otherwise she wouldn't dress so revealing). As an influencer, she has a responsibility to not glamorize eating disorders. To sit there, waving off any concerned comments with sarcasm or lines like "oh I'm fine" are very harmful. It is also false marketing because you are telling a young audience that you can be this thin and "be fine" at the same time, which is drop dead impossible. She is capitalizing on her sick body for beauty purposes, and THAT is exactly the same as encouraging self harm. So stop gaslighting your followers when you are using your body as a mannequin!
@ellaa3776

This I agree with, like lique faith (rip 😢) was honest about what she was going through, and there was no one that ever thought she should be banned. Eugenia though by saying she’s perfectly fine and healthy, that’s what’s dangerous, cuz she’s telling people that people can be healthy at her weight and that’s not true, most people wouldn’t have a problem with her if she’d simply admit that her weight is not healthy for anybody including her

Banning is always wrong, as it can take a wicked turn on good things too. Eugenia does need to have a come to Jesus meeting and content restricted to over 18. I really don’t think she will be around much longer. I was scared for her last year, though SHE is even thinner now. Just terrible as I don’t want her to die as she is so young. It is up to her now as her family appears to have given up. Very sad.

PS. I do think Eugenia's content SHOULD be age restricted.. Not really that it will keep out every kid from seeing her, but it is a huge demographic for her and might be a wake up call to her influence (since she is an "influencer") as well as It would prevent the algorithm from promoting her videos to kids who may not even subscribe to her.

At that age I did have acne and the daughter asked my mom and I if I wanted to come back for a facial. Sure. Wow. The PAIN! The anesthetist went innnn honey. So much so that - my nose was super puffy for weeks. My face looked horrible. I didn’t go back for that service… in reflection, it did help my acne I think. It’s been so long ago. I’m forgetting. 😂

Jaclyn also said that Eugenia has a personal driver called Edgar. If Deb can't take her anywhere for what ever reason this guy drives her. Jaclyn told a story about how Edgar once practically bust into her home to get Eugenia and was incredibly.... I guess intimidating because Eugenia had to be home by a certain time exactly because Deb said so.... Eugenia doesn't need a license - I still can't fathom how she got one or why anyone thought it was a good idea to let a person who is mentally compromised through starvation have a license even if she did manage to "pass" the test - She has people who can drive her every where and she can get everything delivered too... She doesn't need to be out on the roads endangering people!!

About the age restriction, so I am the mother of 2 teenagers. I have a 15 year old son and a 19 year old daughter. It’s up to the parents to control and monitor what their kids watch when they’re young. As they get older it’s does get harder to control. But that’s when being a parent is important so you can teach your kids about these things in life and explain to them that what they’re seeing isn’t good and WHY. You can turn so many things into a life lesson. The parents need to quit letting social media raise their kids. Just my 2 cents in community corner lol.

A 12 year who died after idolizing EG was strictly forbidden internet at home. But at school everyone was (and had to) use internet. School felt safe because age restricted content was blocked on school computers. If EG had age restricted her content this kid could have been alive. That was NOT the parents fault. They DID forbid her internet. It's very naive to think that kids can't find internet anywhere If the parents just forbid it.
@Alexis84DE
@Alexis84DE 7 ай бұрын
@@j.artiste8596you missed the point of the comment. Restricting access is only half the battle. Explaining WHY such content is problematic is also important. Just banning internet altogether is extreme and does nothing to help young kids grow into sensible adults. Also your story sounds pretty … questionable … and I would be very careful making public accusations about a person being the cause of someone’s death.
@Poopiepies
@Poopiepies 7 ай бұрын
@@j.artiste8596you completely missed the point. This person is saying it’s the parents responsibility to be attentive to the child and notice these changes, have conversations with them about uncomfortable situations and topics, so they don’t fall victim to disordered thinking(this applies to so much more than just EDs). Do you not put any blame on the parents who completely and utterly failed to get their child help before her condition was fatal? I know you loose weight fast, but I promise you, getting to that stage is not a quick process. These parents neglected to address these issues and instead acted like nothing was wrong just like Deb is doing now. Put blame where blame is due. Did the school system have no software to track what their students did on their computers? Was there no counselor or teacher, all of whom are mandatory reporters, who noticed the tell tale signs of this disease until it was too late? Instead you’ll blame someone who is just as I’ll as the girl who died trying to emulate her.

@@j.artiste8596The parents were naive to forbid the internet entirely. Not only is it used in every aspect of our lives today; but it also denied them the opportunity to set boundaries on what types of content the teen had access to while using the internet along with failing to provide a safe space to go to the parents about things she was seeing. If she was watching Euginia at home; her parents would have had a better chance of discovering what she was watching and had a discussion with her about why Euginia looks the way she does and just how dangerous and deadly her situation is. I feel parents are responsible to monitor what their children are watchinv. HOWEVER! If someone cant smoke, even when they dont "promote" or tell others to smoke. If we cannot use words like banned, suicide, rape, or abuse. Then Eugenia Cooney is very much breaking the same exact pos! Someone holding a cigarette in their hand, or puffing on it, while in video, while talking about how to lay tile, or braid hair, or any other topic, is considered to be promoting smoking. I have two theories about the bells, locks, and alarms. 1. Her grandma had dementia…a lot of times people with dementia try to run away or can get into trouble, almost like a child. So it is in place to keep them safe, or maybe to keep Eugenia’s room safe. I’m not sure why she wouldn’t want to just say that out loud but maybe she thinks it’s taboo to talk about. 2. Her brother allegedly has developmental delays and/or is neurodivergent in some way, and therefore the door alarms and bells could be used in the same way. Just keeping him and everyone else safe. @AngryLittleSponge 7 ай бұрын
@@ChannellRajal If you have a feeding tube, it stays in place. they don't put in a feeding tube just to have one "meal" and then take it out. It literally gets taped to your face. Having a feeding tube put in is VERY uncomfortable (it goes up your nose and down your throat and fed down into your stomach) and can be incredibly distressing for people who are refusing any sustenance. Most people with ED's fight it and need to be restrained for it to be inserted... She does not get tube fed, in my opinion. Eugenia refuses even water most of the time which is zero calories - I can't imagine Eugenia willingly having a feeding tube put in a taken out daily. Refeeding syndrome can be dangerous (eating after starving for a long time) but eating very small portions of easily digestible food to start with in a controlled way make the body adjust to accepting food again easier and safer. I say this all from experience (though I understand Eugenia isn't me and her experience may differ) but I suffered from anorexia for years as a child/teenager and into my 20's and was inpatient a few times.

She's hiding millions of things. She even thinks she's hiding things that we obviously see. I wanted to add that not even for her influence but she needs to be age restricted for her flashing and her adult content like when nudity ends up on her stream. Also people say parents should keep their kids offline and while I agree, i was 16/17 when i was diagnosed with anorexia and i was definitely old enough to be online. There is no age range for eating disorders. I think that "paper" is a reflection of her box light. Skinny love is a beautiful song. Lastly, I saw the video of the door and i thought it was a squeek but now after watching this one and hearing it again.. im convinced its a beep that happens before the door even opens. Jordy, you're hilarious and i adore watching you. I always look forward to your videos. Keep up the good work!

Here's a possible theory: Adult Protective Services may be involved. Deb might be Eugenia's legal/court mandated guardian. The alarms, bells, etc., might be a way to ensure that Eugenia does not exit the room or house and engage in harming behaviors when Deb isn't watching. This would also be why Deb accompanies her everywhere. If Eugenia continues to decline, Deb would be liable--thus why she avoids taking Eugenia to doctors and why she flipped out on Jaclyn when she tried to help.
@RD-hd3sl
@RD-hd3sl 7 ай бұрын
If that’s the case, instead of hiding her from doctors why wouldn’t she put her in a treatment program? Genuine question, can’t hear tone when we read lol. Every time I consider this, bc it makes sense up to a point, I think to myself what I asked you. I think… well if she doesn’t take her to doctors, and she doesn’t get her help, we know the outcome. So Deb would be held liable for that outcome, she can’t be in that position or she’d force treatment. When Jaclyn said Eugenia was sobbing bc if she went to treatment her mom would pass due to her “weak heart” that also stands out. She said Eugenia lives in constant fear of (causing her mom to pass). Which again made me think her mom can’t be liable or else she’d force treatment but she scares her away from it allegedly. Either way, severe alleged neglect & abusive behavior from her mother. So perhaps she’s willing to end up in court. Idk. Something is wrong with her mother IMO. EDIT: fixed grammar & wording errors

Her mom told her she couldn't go outside, and to look at the Moon through the window. I think, another thing with the issue with Euginia being impressionable on kids, is that her aesthetic (as in everything she likes, her decor, style, the way she speaks etc) clearly caters for kids and the younger generation. But the worrying thing along with that, is how much skin she shows. I cannot think of a single other content creator who continuously shows as much skin as Euginia does, in terms of how much of her chest, midrift and upper legs are visible. She wears the skimpiest outfits, regularly, I have ever seen on a content creator. Obviously I've seen other content creators dress up with skimpy outfits, but noone who has it as their daily attire. I think this is the main thing that bothers me with Euginia and the fact kids can easily access her content and see her coming top of the beauty and fashion of tiktok. Just imagine if you had a curvy girl, who sat there with a bustier and mini skirt so short it looks like a belt, who pretended to be as childish as Euginia and had the same style and aesthetic as Euginia... It would be wrong on so many levels, it would be seen as the creator trying to groom kids. Literally. So why is it acceptable when we have someone who is showing us their skeleton, instead of their curves? It's just not acceptable behaviour, regardless of any medical conditions there may be. You don't create content aimed at kids, or that kids will clearly be highly attracted to in a place where they can easily access it, sat on a couch all day on live stream in essentially a bikini..... Does it not remind anyone of anything? Because it looks very much like the daytime adult section of the TV channels to me, where the girls lay their in there bikinis and skimpy outfits on their own pink couch, pouting at the screen, reading texts out that send them money, and wave their phone at you trying to get you to call in. It's just immorel, plain and simple. I don't think I would feel this way if Euginia wore clothing that was appropriate to make content aimed at kids, or that kids are going to be naturally attracted to, in a place where they can very easily access it, or even accidentally access it.

I agree. Her presence is like an Only Fans page. You are so right that if she was busty her outfits would be to garner sexual attention. I truly believe she will be well enough one day to have boobs and a butt and will make another fortune in the adult sex industry. She’s had years of experience. Imagine a man flaunting his junk on a couch to young girls and everyone would be up in arms even if he was emaciated.

To understand this madness you must first understand that she’s still living in 2012. She’s just trying to be the cool girl still and ignores the fact she’s turning 30. She’s careless and that’s exactly wgat the disease of anorexia nervousa does. It’s just like addiction because it is an addiction. It’s all consuming and her mother should be held accountable. You know I bet if we were to actually hold Eugenia accountable for her actions and everything she ignores that she sounds quickly realize the truth of her situation. That her mom would disappear and cover her own ass and that she’d realize she’s nothing without the comfort of money. If she got even a taste of the hard life for once I bet she’d hit that rock bottom fast and then and only then would recovery even be possible.

Her content got forced on me back in 2018-2019 when I’d look for GAMING CONTENT!!!!!! She’s gross and being pushed to children and anyone who thinks otherwise is crazy. No gamer wants to see her content. Idk why it kept being pushed to out when she’s just being a weirdo half dressed flashing underwear to show her shoes…like ok girl, ew.

Really great points. May I add, the amount of "accidental" flashings is almost in the hundreds. It isn't just a flash of underwear. When it is underwear, we're getting money shots, like 2 legs open and the middle right there. What Eugenia really really loves to do is show bare parts. Reddit has them all, I'm sure but the first one she did was a purposeful BARE shot of her, you know. I think that was the only time YT made her remove a video. There is just so much of her doing this and what message does that send to kids?! We know she's doing it for the nasty men. I always worried that little girls/tweens were copying her & not knowing the implications. TikTok. Eugenia has tried hard to get bare shots past the TikTok censors but they've got a pretty good lock on that. Even still, when she was at Jeffree's dancing around I saw her bare labia, no underwear wearing one of those gross taffeta ballerina get ups. smh It's the way she dresses showing so much skin but she also dresses so sloppily. A great excuse for those "accidents" to happen. I hope that this made sense.

The only thing I can think of along with the bells on the door. Is that when her grandmother lived with her it could have been installed for her safety. Also my dogs used to rings bells on the door if they wanted to go out to the bathroom. But as far as I know this is the first time we’ve heard an alarm like that for the door. Interesting . 🤔

You’re going to love the results of your peel! I’m an esthetician. I’m sure she gave you a very light peel for beginners. There are all kind of different peels and strengths. I know lots of people are afraid of them, but they’re wonderful for skin cell turnover and clearing/brightening the skin. Staying out of the sun/SPF is super important! Just give it a few days and moisturize, moisturize, moisturize!!! ❤️

I can be wrong but I believe Deb destroyed everything for Eugenia. I'm 26, I had a deeply narcissistic mother (level Precious mother type of situation), and I only started living/find a job by myself at 23, when I decided to go No Contact after the pandemic. Only then I was able to start doing daily things for myself (like going to the supermarket to do big groceries list by myself), take uber by myself and go to the capital's state by my own. Narcissists destroy everything for their adult kids and the fear of the world is so so so huge. My biggest accomplishment was to learn english by myself (something that the narcissistic mother hated too). I still don't have friends and my biggest goal and dream is to leave south america. I only started living after becoming adult. I feel so sorry for Eugenia too because she also have this awful ED that gives her a false sense of control over everything. This ED is everything she has in order to mentally escape her absent family and it's so sad. Her grandma passing was so sad too...

It is 100% true that people make more positive assumptions if you’re thinner. When my ED was active I dropped 60 pounds in a month at the start and my family was over the moon happy. Bullies at school stopped bothering me. Didn’t matter I clearly wasn’t doing it healthily. When I recovered I naturally put weight back on (as you do after starving your body) and my family said I’d “stopped trying” and were so disappointed in me. My dad is super skinny and eats nothing but junk. High cholesterol and BP. My mom and I are heavier. I have the lowest cholesterol and BP in my entire family because I make better choices but everyone assumes HE is the healthy one bc he’s thin. I’ve battled chronic illness for 19 years now and they’ve always blamed it on my weight even when I was barely 10 pounds overweight by their measure. I used to workout an hour a day everyday and went to the doc to start with bc the pain and symptoms got so bad I couldn’t do it anymore and they still told me I just needed to exercise bc they didn’t believe me. They always blamed everything on weight until finally 13 years later they bothered to check for endometriosis and found that I was absolutely riddled with it. I know super skinny folks do get dunked on too but it’s nowhere near as nasty overall. I mean, I’ve seen people say they prefer Eugenia and still find her more attractive than someone obese.

Seconding that people in real life absolutely do this. Dropped 100 lbs in one semester of highschool and my parents would always tell me how awesome I looked and how proud they were that I finally wasn’t the “chubby” one of the family. The one person who showed any concern about my weight loss was my show choir instructor because she kept having to take in my costumes. But even then, she was satisfied with a simple “I cut out soda 😅” and it wasn’t pursued further. I wish you the best on your journey in recovery.

Never in my decades in the medical field have I seen/heard of someone losing 2 lbs a day x 30 days … the human body is not even capable of doing that unless you are doing physical activity 24 seven and not eating anything at all.. in that case you would not even have 2 pounds per day to lose and wouldn’t even last the 30 days. Why do people post essays like this with bizarre information

Growing up in the early 00s the internet gave me a way to find others to share all the “tips and trix” as they put it, and you could find a whole community of “Ana” and “Mia” people to chat with or have a mental competition with to get to a crisis point like EC. The coded language and the scrapbook pictures for “thinspiration” would escalate into a bad situation. We had our own unhinged Pinterest page, only in scrapbook form. Then having the low rise jeans and being shamed for having any kind of curves was sooo ridiculous. I still find myself falling into old habits but it’s definitely nothing like it was. Loads of therapy, highly recommend if you’re able to get it.❤ to add to this, those pro Ana sites I mentioned had playlists for music to inspire you more so the girl popping in to say the song name and go totally fits.

Jordy I feel you on the "facial" stuff. When I was a teen, my mom had me going to a lady for acne bc nothing else was working. The extraction process can be awful. The lady told me she once had a grown man get up and leave right after she started! There are nice parts too, though. I think with chemical peels you should ideally wait for when you don't have active open acne spots, putting acid on that isn't the best idea.
