John sings a new song at a surprise midnight show at the Hotel Cafe. He was having trouble with his pick, his shirt sleeve and other issues, but the song was great once he got going. :)

This..This is the real John Mayer. Not saying that he wasn't before, or that his Live in L.A performances weren't legit, they were, and some very good at that, but this..this is raw, this is him, just finally being who he is and comfortable with it. This is beautiful to watch. John, you've come a long way, and I'm excited to see what you'll bring us next. Cheers everyone!

it's more like neil young folk style and i think this is one of his best albums to date; he really brought out his "artsy" side on this one.

my favorite song in the album..wow he really poured out his heart on this one.

Love the new album. This is first time I'm hearing the songs from this show but they rocked. Glad to see him playing at a smaller gig like his early career. This album has such an emotive quality attached to it and you can feel it. The album was recorded beautifully and sounds fantastic. All the naysayers don't have the same record I guess...

John is such an amazing artist. He is always reenventing himself, always keeping the quality of the songs and lyrics up. His albums are very different, but he always puts his heart in each of every song. I can't deny that the best album so far is Continuum, but he stills working towards giving the best of himself forhis fans (and for himself of course). Congrats on the new songs, and have a fast recovery John!

Amazing natural musical talent, and mighty handsome as a bonus. I would save up to see him in concert here in Baton Rouge LA, but lately the ones I really like have their concerts in New Orleans.

Well, I bought this CD yesterday at Best Buy. ( yes folks, you can still buy something that you can actually HOLD IN YOUR HANDS) This song stood out to us (my band) from the first pass through as the song to learn. I bought the CD yesterday and we're covering this song tonight! I hope I remember to have my sleeves rolled up and my pick is usually already in my mouth anyway, so . . . Thank you John and I hope your lyrengeal issues clear up ASAP! See you on the road.
