I thought it’s not for cranking amps ? I read it either cuts load completely or let’s you run amp thru it to a cab but no actual attenuation

The clean & jazzy tones were great. I don't know whether it's KZfaq, but I was not convinced at all by the OD tones. Thanks for uploading, nice playing !

frantisca hey thanks for the comment - this video was really geared towards the clean side per request of Two Notes. The crunch stuff was more an afterthought and was just to show ‘range’ . I didn’t spend any prep time picking the cabs/ mics on the lead stuff.

Great demo I've just purchased one and running through Genelec 1031's. Should I be using any particular type of monitor for home studio, don't want to kill my monitors?

Great demo! Quick question if you could please answer, my amp is 16 ohm speaker, how would this work if I’m coming out to 8 ohm torpedo and wanting to run my 16 ohm cab with the thru feature? Thanks for the demo.

it will be perfectly fine- this impedance 'mismatch' won't cause an issue. Maybe a little bit of a volume drop.

Hi. Nice tones. Congratulations!. A question. I have a 16 ohm amp and reading your answers i understand that there is not problem to use with the torpedo in your experience. Is it correct? Thanks

Hey Justin I had just gotten the Torpedo live a week or so ago.. Amazing..So if I was to use a pedal of my choice what input would I use to plug into?..and it doesn't have to be a preamp pedal does it?

use the line input- any 'amp in the box' pedal should work well.

+Justin Bryant I'm having trouble getting mine to sound that bright without adding eq. It sounds kind of muddy until I add the eq. It doesn't seem to matter what amp I use either. Any ideas? Thanks!

Hi, can you use this unit with a cab and if so can you uses it as a type of attenuator by cranking the amp and bringing down the over all volume coming from the amp i can't decide between this one or the reload. thanks

No - that's where the Reload comes in! However you can take the signal down to line level and power with it with a power amp such as the Matrix, VHT or the Reload!

Thanks for the reply if you just wanted to uses the unit though headphone and uses the built in irs and not record could you just run this into the amp without a interface or do you still need an interface for it to work?

+JakeF1243 using an interface is totally optional. I use mine that way much of the time. It is definitely designed to be a free-standing unit if that is how you would like to use it.
