Kirmuss Audio has revolutionized the way to not only clean but restore records, newly pressed or made 50 plus years ago. Using multiple 2 or 5 minute cycles, the process shown removes first left over residues from prior cleanings from the record's surface, then contaminants that were micro-welded in the record's release agent, then the release agent that came out of the pressing whether a week old or a record pressed 50 years ago. Dust and dirt that was micro welded into the release agent in the grooves by the heat generated by the dyne of the needle creates many of the annoying pops and ticks heard. With release agent removed using the Kirmuss process sees the breath and soundstage of the record restored. Restores 4 records simultaneously in 12 to 25 minutes. With the needle fitting in the "pocket" of the groove, therefore most surface scratches may not be heard. Sonics do not work in general as the record and the solution in the basin have the same charge thus repelling the generated plasma wave created through cavitation. This process changes everything.

Update... I am 130 albums in of 800 to clean. This product is quality. Although I am a local customer and I am bias, I fully recommend this product over the competitors. The cleaning is so impressive that I upgraded my turntable from a MMF-7 to a VPI which I will be paying for ...for the rest of my life. Very happy consumer.

Man, at this rate I'll be as old as Fremer before my last record is 'supa dupa' washed! Sorry, I like listening to my records, not washing them.

I was considering buying one but it looks like it takes 30 minutes to clean one record using this process and there's warning to turn the machine off after 35 minutes of use and let it rest for 15 minutes, so that means close to an hour to clean 1 or 2 records, sorry but that's ridiculous. And why do you have to push the pulse button twice in succession? Why no just make it so you push once. And the 1.30 timer sequence you repeat twice. Why not just make it a 3 minute cycle? Sorry but I don't get it.

Incorrect the process. We can process 20 records before turning the machine off to cool down the transducers. The 35 minue rule is applicable only if applicable if we do not stop the machine. We can further continue if we change the hot water when the small red bar flashes with a cool refill. We processed here in Seoul in a media event yesterday 11 records, 4 cycles before a 10 minute stop when the small red light started to flash. Give us a call.

I want to buy one of those covers for my US machine but it does not have the connector on the side to plug it into so i want to use an adapter. Do you know the DC voltage it runs on? Cheers, Cesar

The assembly only works with our machine. It is not just voltage but cavitation machine frequency and resonance

The machine you are referring is not made by us and if our ionizing agent is used will affect negatively your records just as our spray when used with other machines will see the records sandblasted.

What is plasma wave?

When cavitation occurs there is a wave created. Sonic engineers call this a plasma wave. You may see waves in the tank of distilled water when an ultrasonic is operating.

Was going to invest in this unit. But after seeing this video, I'm going to pass. Did anyone else notice he put the record on the turntable twice while it was running? No thanks..

We are able to insert 4 records in the machine at anytime. The video was made during an interview. If a record while the machine is running is inserted incorrectly it pops out and allows you to reinsert it as it should, perpendicular to the assembly.

@@kirmussaudio7578 thank you for your reply, but I was referring to when the records were put on the turntable. If he can't do that properly, I'm not going to buy into anything else he says or does. Someone should teach this expert how to place a record on a turntable, then make a video. It'll be a bit more believable.

No worries... FYI our design is to remove the release agent from the record's grooves. Not to surface clean. Removing it removes embedded dust microwelded in the "pressing oil" that Shure spoke about in the 70's at the factory, where we remove the pops caused by this and increase on a new pressing the signal to the phono stage by almost 1.3 db.. To surface clean, needed only one 5 minute cycle for 4 records is all that is needed. Surface cleaning and release agent removal are two separate processes. We purport the latter.
