NIce. I've got a NAS Defender, but it's rare presence here in Wisconsin. When it inhabits my driveway, it sometimes attracts the like minded. About a decade ago a neighbor, from down the block stopped by and introduced himself. He spoke of his fondness for Rovers. We chatted and when he left, I didn't see him again until just the other day when he stopped by, looking about a decade older (late 70s I'd say). He let me know he had finally purchased a Rover. A Series III 109 Santana with a 2.5 NA diesel,. He wanted to know if I had any diesel mechanic contacts. I do not, and told him so. I saw the truck and it looks pretty on the surface, but he didn't start it up for me. Any resources for free service manuals or likely culprits of a smoky engine would be appreciated so I can pass the info along to him. I loved your video. It's definately my intro to 2.5 Diesels. I want to help my neighbor out. I don't think he's too big on the interwebs though. Any tips would be appreciated.
