Tongue and Groove Siding for a Film Studio

3 жыл бұрынThe new tools shed is not only for storing parts and a lawnmower. I am also turning the back corner into a film studio! To make this area as clean and appealing as I can I am installing Tongue and Groove pine boards to make this space look awesome.

You did a great job on your wall, it looks good, I'm working on a 18 ×10 room, going to install tongue and groove board, wiring and instalation now, going to nail the boards like you did, good idea to predrill holes, avoid splitting, great video, thanks for sharing, subscribed.

Years ago I started a project like this and I learned the hard way that pre drill is a must. Also get a nail punch. That tool makes it so much cleaner.

I think I had moved the electrical outlet to the side of that stud, so the electrical box sat flush with the wooden panel, maybe something to think about for the next wall build.

For some reason the boxes I got did not have side mount screws. Otherwise I totally would have done that!

Oh! I will have to look for them next time I go in there. Haha 😄 The outlet in this wall might get reset to look better.

Looking Good Seth! You need a compressor and a finish nailer, the boards would have gone up in half the time.

doing tool videos. Please note to set the nails in tough and groove you should use a nail set instead of a punch.

This tool shed doubles as a studio. I might go back and do some insulation but for now it is doing OK.
