This is a great example of a great strength coach using all the tools in a strength training tool box. It’s a disservice to train an athlete with just one style of training. Like, we are and Olympic lifting based team or a Powerlifting based team. A truly great coach uses all available exercises, protocols and modalities to maximize their athletes results as an athlete. I was a high school strength coach for 30 years and called our program a hybrid program.

I’m not a trainer yet but my specialty will be recovery as an athlete with a bunch of injuries that took away his professional career I do not want that to happen to anybody else this is such a great educational podcast for me right now I have been looking for different ways to approach training and not still be locked in to my way of thinking

15 minutes into this conversation I’ve discovered I’ve been training myself incorrectly not so much incorrectly but partially wrong based on the knowledge I’m getting I definitely need to stick to a program and recover

How do you get enough fat when you eat piedmontese beef? 200 grams of protein would be less than 20 grams with most cuts. How are you guys getting over 100 grams? If you are adding fat than why not buy fattier cuts of beef?
