A new friend of mine invited me and the Nibbler to metal detect on an old Amish Farm. On this property was an original Doctor's Office, Blacksmith shop, and I believe a shoe cobbler. Now I've detected all sorts of terrain and old places, but I've never detected on Amish property so this will be a unique experience. Since Amish use very little modern amenities I've envisioning very little 'newer' trash, but the dirt will tell the story.
During our hunt, some Amish walked over to see what we were doing a few times. They were very friendly and interested in what we were finding, but respecting their Amish ways I didn't film them. There was also a large Amish Barn being built behind us the whole time so I kept stopping to watch that process as well. What a cool day and I got to meet some new friends during the process. Here's my highlights of the hunt.
Of course you can check out the Nickel Nibbler's video of the day. He plucked some amazing pieces himself!

Also, a very big Thank You to my new friend Leroy for inviting us down. One of the best parts of this hobby is meeting really good people along the way!
