fun fact, other streamers like Dylan Burns who covered the debate got banned from Twitch explicitly for showing Destiny on their streams, meanwhile Hasan remains completely untouched. Love that double standard

Twitch is a joke. I've been on a boycott of them for years. I used to miss all of papa's streams because of it. I'm glad most crestors realize that there's a lot of people who won't go near that platform. For me it's simple 1) obnoxious advertising scheme that drives people away from the site rather than towards it 2) uneven application of the sites terms and conditions based on who the admins personally like. Decisions often times based on gender. 3) it's Amazon. They don't get any of my money

The worst thing I can say about the Destiny/Ben convo is that they both talk so fast that I had to slow down my playback speed, as for Hasan, you asked me he's getting to the point he could give Alex Jones a run for his money for level of dog whistle usage

@@lisalarsen2384 in hindsight, yes. When he initially agreed to do the podcast, I don’t think he realized that Ethan was the drunken master. He had to find that out the hard way. All memes aside, yeah it ended up being a really bad look for Hasan, and he lost a friend in the process. It showed just how toxic his community actually was and a lot of middle-of-the-road H3 fans distanced themselves from Hasan after witnessing what Hasan’s community truly was and Hasan’s blatant disregard for Ethan as a human.

Destiny's community and the other leftists(hamasabi) in social media trying to push him to be more snarky and rude to Ben is what will hold Destiny back. Destiny pushed back without being a smart ass like his usual debates and I think thats what they were looking for with his debate with Ben. I agree with papa, the debate was good without it being an absolute mess. However if they wanted a messy slam dunk debate then watching him and Alex Jones would be more fun. That one was pretty funny.

i agree. leftists laugh at the term "civility politics" because they've convinced themselves and their audiences that all people to the right of them, including liberals, are "literally fascist psychopathic transphobic racist low IQ murderers." therefore, in people like Hasan's minds, giving these people to the right of them any sort of charitability or kindness is conceding that they deserve any moral consideration to begin with. this is why people on the left have become so insufferable, rude and quick to insult anyone who doesn't agree with them. this kind of thinking has been a cancer to the left, and has driven many sensible people more to the center- i think this is one of the reasons why Destiny's audience has grown over the last year or two.

I hate Hasan with a burning passion but there's no way he's ever getting banned off Twitch. He may be a smug hypocritical cunt, but it doesn't change the fact that he's popular and bringing in a lot of money for Twitch.
