Hello and hi Anthony, sorry to hear you were feeling a bit flat today, might well be `awesomeness withdrawal syndrome` Very much looking forward to seeing the wall with you too! this is the problem you`ll go home and expect the B n B treatment lol, a very rude awaken awaits! keep on treking bring on day 13! interesting to meet Toby, glad he helped but a smile on your face, Kat was a-gog with the size of his rucksack! wow 😁👍 catch you soon, have a great night or day, when ever you read this, Ceri and Kat ☕👌🥰❤

Haha. I’ve no idea how he was even moving with that rucksack on. It would have pinned me to the floor 😆

All hail to the feet! I hope they manage to carry you on. Nice to have met someone else along the way, you can help each other along. George shouldn't be too far from you now. Best of luck today, twenty miles is no mean feat. You will be mowing the lawn before you know it, so savour the moment's you have now 😁

Well after watching your last 4 videos Anthony, all I can say is WOW! The North Pennines look absolutely fantastic, an area I've yet to visit myself, but you've captured some wonderful footage of your journey through this part of the PW. Particularly of note has to be High Cup Nick, Cauldron Snout and High Force, just AMAZING! Looking forward to seeing your route across Hadrian's Wall and the Cheviots. All the best, Patrick 👍

Thanks Patrick. The North Pennines is a fab area. This was probably the least exciting of all the days through there though. High Cup Nick was absolutely fantastic. Being there alone was a joy. It’s quite a long walk up so you don’t get the crowds like you do in some of the popular Peak District spots

I also thought of the Cleveland Way through Skelton, when you passed by that viaduct. Through the next town, the Way has been temporarily redirected while many new houses are to be built. Twenty five miles for your final day... I'm sure you'll have worked your way up to it! Looking forward to catching up with your final days, Anthony and hope you're having a good weekend (even if it's restful). All the best.

Thanks Olly. There were some impressive viaducts on this day of the walk. The Ribblehead viaduct was impressive when I walked through the Yorkshire Dales, although I only saw that from a distance. I’ve had a couple of days rest thanks, although been out for a leisurely 4 mile stroll today as I was starting to seize up 🙈

I can imagine the last few days will require that ‘something’ extra & your resolve will be tested especially on the long days. Dig deep, keep putting one foot in front of the other… you’ll get there! ☺️

It’s certainly getting tougher Rachel. 23 miles today but Hadrian’s Wall was 10 of them which made for a great day.

Love the video mate, keep up the good work. Think we were definitely both flagging towards the end there! Big push for the last 3 days and you'll have your feet up resting before you know it! Happy walking Anthony!

You're a PW veteran already. Great going. I remember this stretch. The Pennine Way god of accidentally putting your hand on an electric fence had a bit of fun with me in this day.... :)

doing well there. views of the cheviots on this section. i got the impression from somewhere this was a bit of a dull day scenery wise but actually not so bad-just a few miles of moorland that i'd never care to walk again.

You’re doing great Anthony amazing. It’s a tough life no washing up or making the bed. If you wild camped you’d be cooking and rolling out your camping matt. I don’t know how Toby carried that ridiculous sized rucksack. I’m surprised you were n’t knocked over by the huge items swinging behind it 😂

I got the same flagging feeling from Alston but for me it was because having enjoyed it so much I knew the walk was nearly done. Hadrian's Wall is great though as are the Cheviots and I also enjoyed the Padon Hill moors between Bellingham and Byrness.

The way marking wasn’t too bad in most places. I found Cross Fell quite tricky to navigate as the cloud had come in and there were no landmarks to help. It’s definitely a trail where you need the skills to navigate isn’t it?
