There were actually two instances of Pewdiepie saying the "n word". The first was in a scripted video where he said "nigga--" cutting himself off. This occurred before the fiver drama and the PUBG incident

The messed up thing is, yeah he said something racist on a stream, a live stream. I've said dumb harsh things in the heat of the moment (not racial slurs mind you) and I'm sure others have too. People lost their shit over him saying that then, but that wasn't the first time he said it. I remember watching some of his older videos, and he said it during one of them too. This was an edited video, and he would've re-watched it during editing and he chose to keep it in, but no one said shit about it then.

I like this channel but.... Its like listening to two people who find something funny, and you do not get the full hilarity cause your either not part of their group talking, or like me listening to them. I totally agree Pewdiepie was once something I really enjoyed to watch, I subbed to that channel cause of his lets plays, and now I ponder unsubbing cause I do not find what he does entertaining any more. I mean He can 100% do what he wants I do not want him to feel forced to do anything but, I just got done with him. Like if I subbed to like....Aydin here, I subbed to her channel cause shes an intelligent speaker has interesting views and I feel I am learning something, plus shes cute as a button and I just wanna hug her till all the air escapes her lungs, but if one day all she did was make up tutorials and that was it I would no longer sub to her. But that does not mean I would not like her, or wish her her to stop the new direction she was going in cause she wanted to go in that direction. As for Spoony...and Chennai awesome....Spoony is looking for a get rich with little effort, and Channel awesome is like that one uncle who touches people but no one has the heart or the means to fully deal with him, I mean ya he still is fun to be around but.....he either used to or secretly still does touch people....
