Today's vlog: We have a Q&A about our background, how we prepared for the trip and what our future plans are. People wanted to know what training we did before we left, if we had sailing experience before, what our final destination is etc. Enjoy!
On the 17th of April 2020 we left marina Port Ghalib in Egypt, heading south towards Sudan and Djibouti and finally Maldives. We will take it easy, enjoy the beautiful reefs of the red sea and keep an eye on the corona regulations of the ports we pass. Since many countries are closed we don't know where we will be allowed to go on land again, but we can survive 4 month without seeing anybody :)
This journey is only a small part of our trip that started 2 years ago. We got the sailing- skills on our friends yacht 'Shalom' when we joined them on a trip from the Netherlands to Spain. / @sailingshalom . In Spain we decided to go with our own boat, and in no time we were the happy owners of 'Messenger'. We left may 2018 and started vlogging from the beginning, we made 15 minute video's of our adventures, the nature and the many special people we met. We cooperated with OM to visit their projects and film them on our way. Since 19 of March we started with a daily vlog due to the corona situation. We plan to keep doing this the coming months.

héy, jullie zijn toch 2 speciale mensen. geeft mij toch inspiratie om te relativeren. waarvoor dank! ik kijk uit naar jullie avonturen en nieuwe project(jes) op de boot en verdere projecten in en met het leven. ondertussen heb ik beslist voor de aankoop van een zeilboot. deze hele periode kijk ik nu naar jullie, living the dream en mss toch een beetje onderhuids following the messenger... dus binnenkort kan je me iets meer terug vinden op het ijsselmeer.

" We work when we need money." That made me smile. Since I starded as zzper 3 years ago I learned the the Lord *does* provide. Work finds me, sometimes well payed. Sometimes because it just needs to be done. In general I worried about money far to much for the previous 25 years :-)

Don't miss out the one where we dance with dolphins, that was just surreal. (I think it's in our top 5 video we made of the entire trip, with our best experiences all over)

Hey, Wat een leuke vragen weer en zoals een dame hier schreef zo leren wij jullie wel beter kennen. Wel raar eigenlijk, wij kennen jullie beter dan jullie ons. ya, sorry. we talked about that. Adding footage from the preparations and family and so on. but it was going to be too complicated :) You can watch our first vlog again ;p

Haha nee, zo bedoel ik beide berichten niet.. haha. Hermen jij zegt altijd peace out, dat went ik dacht misschien klinkt het heel verassend als Marjolein het zegt ipv Hermen.. Beelden van bij het verhaal bedoel ik ook niet maar gewoon beelden van de dag omgeving etc.. dat is meestal iets waar ik blij en enthousiast van wordt.. We moesten het als kijker vandaag van het verhaal hebben dat is soms ook goed..

@@sailingmessenger8125 Astrologie heeft mijn interesse vandaar mijn vraag. Je kan zien of iemand een aarde , lucht ,vuur of water teken is bv. Maar je kan het zeker zien als een prive aangelegenheid. Goede reis m.v.g. Steef.

Ah oké. Wij hebben allebei echt geen idee wat voor sterrenbeeld we zouden zijn volgens de horoscoop😁 christelijke opvoeding hé, daar hoort sterrenbeelden enzo niet bij 😀. We vinden het helemaal niet te privé ofzo maar we weten er gewoon echt niks van. Wel eens horoscoop in de krant zien staan natuurlijk, maar dat wekte niet echt mijn interesse. my name is abdossamed .i am a new follow you and i watch 45 flogs until now . thet you do it of ocean trip it is my dream . it tell you iam from holy makkah city saudi arabia . the red sea near from here i love the red sea i think it is most beautiful sea it has special reefs i am spearfishing man i was go to red sea on on all wekend and fishing but before about 10 years the goverment of saudi blocked the spearfishing . i was have small bout in red sea can i ask you why you do not came to saud arabia it is very beautiful country . all it culture .but the red sea same thing betwen saudi and Egypt no different . now we in lockdown because korona . we at home can not go out . when you came saudi after korona you welcom . can i ask you please : how i can join with you . and i would like learn sailing boats even if it cost ? thank you i very interesting with your flogs

Hey! Wow great that you are from Mekkah! So you live there? I just know that many people go there on a hadj, but did not know people are also living there still. Can you go whenever you want to the kaaba? Yes the red sea is beautifull! God created it in a great and very creative way right? It's a pitty you are not allowed to go spearfishing anymore... What do you do now for living?

@@sailingmessenger8125 spearfishing is not my work only it my big and first sport and hobbies . i working as trade import some goods for hotels . here in makkah the hotels very very much . i think not number hotels as makkah . yes i alwayes go to kaba and prayer there it is very near i go walk 3 kilometrs

I watched the video. Thanks for sending it. I know most Muslims don't believe that Jesus is the son of God. And that's your free choice, you decide what you believe. But for us, we believe that he is the Son of God. Jesus said that himself. You can read that in the gospel of John chapter 8 and 10 and in gospel of Mark/Markus chapter 14. This is a link to Mark 14.
