Great video look forward to more questions and answer times. Didnt know that about first peter but looking it up most translations get that wrong. Also the new. Ifb badly represents what the faithful ones are. Most are kjv only strong on eternal security. You should do a video on the king james bible! That would be great!

One question ive always had is why did Jesus turn the water into wine? Weren't there drunks at the wedding? Wouldn't that lead some to stumble? It is not a salvation or a Christian living question. But it is a question i never knew the answer to.

Good question. Ultimately, everything Jesus did was to bring more people under the sounds of the gospel. His miracles were to point people to believe in Him. There is a worthy venture of study that some undertake in which concludes the "wine" to actually be really good grape juice. Whatever the scenario, Jesus was able to remain pure and undefiled according to the law. He was "without sin." - Trent

It was real wine. They drank real wine back then. Drinking real wine is not a sin. Getting drunk is. Personally, I choose not to drink. If another believer does, they have freedom in Christ to do so. Of course they should avoid causing another to stumble. They should also weigh the consequences if an unbeliever saw them imbibing.

I would just like to add a clarification, you said the the IFB hold to a doctrine of reprobation that homosexuals are reprobate and cannot be saved according to their interpretation of Romans 1. This is erroneous as the typical IFB church does not hold to this, rather this doctrine has arisen out of the New IFB (NIFB) which has other errors such as repacment theology etc. We must be careful to accurately communicate when correcting the errors of other brothers and sisters, to not mistakenly fall into slander. anyone can be saved it's a free gift death burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ who was sinless and took every ones sins and she'd his blood for are atonement so that who believes will be righteous enough to be in the presence of God, butt God says men are not to lay with men it's a abomination immoral doesn't mean they can't be saved or say can't be saved,butt God does say he forbids that behavior..God bless in Jesus Christ Name 🙏. @@josephinemorgan6582 yes, correct, even the vilest sinner can be saved through faith in Jesus Christ. My point was that pastor Jesse misrepresented a good portion of believers, albeit I give him the benefit of the doubt that it was an accident and not intentional. God bless

He may have been thinking of the "NIFB," but nonetheless, I am sure that each church would be a case by case basis. The strange teachings definitely exist in multitudes of churches. The point was simply that we are non-denominational, and that we simply try to adhere to the scriptures. Thanks!! - Trent

@@BibleLine Thanks for your reply Trent. I understand he made that point, but Jesse did broad-brush the whole denomination with that misrepresentation, which IFB mainstream would not hold to (they are "whosoever may come, & Jesus is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him"), hence why I even commented.

What Grace evangelical society teaches is worse than lordship salvation in many ways. Teaching that you don't need to know the content of the gospel to be saved is a damnable heresy, I would recommend people mark and avoid them.
