Love the fact that this dr basically made a paper trail by ordering a full body scan to show old fractures bc he knew this angel were being abused by those demons !!! Praise God for placing his angels in the right places. He did his part by speaking up for those babies and making sure those guilty of hurting them would get what they deserved and they would get justice !! Rest In Peace sweet babies! May you be seated at his feet in his kingdom and NEVER HURT, be SCARED, worried ever again but only feel love and peace !!!
@loriw26613 жыл бұрын
“Praise god for placing his angels in the right places”?!?!??? Really?! What an inept and cruel god you have. One that waits until “he” allows a child to be abused so horrifically that she dies just so “he” can “show himself” afterwards by putting “angels” in the “right places”. Are you kidding me? This is why religion is so pathetic and dangerous. It makes ordinarily decent people say stupid, indecent and ridiculous things. People: think for yourselves. Don’t believe fairy tales because you were born into a specific religion.
@TehKitteh013 жыл бұрын
@@loriw2661 Humans have free will for a reason. We can choose to believe or not believe in a deity. Faith brings comfort to many people and there is nothing wrong with that, it just gives them different views than those who prefer not to follow any type of religion. Her opinion is hurting no one. You don't have to agree at all, but you trying to argue whether or not there is a God makes all of the things you just said true for you as well. We all have different views, opinions, thoughts and feelings and as long as we don't use them to harm one another, we are entitled to them. And, in all honesty, if it had been you politely sharing your atheism, and a religious person came in bashing you, I'd convey the same message to them. Yelling "THERE IS NO GOD" is just as ineffective as yelling "THERE IS A GOD". We can't change on another's mind. All we can do is agree or disagree and move on.

Or if God was real, he just could've kept her away from these murderers! I guess he wasn't all powerful in seeing that she was being tortured but decided to throw his hat in the ring after the fact she is dead. 🙄 I've always wondered the mind set it takes for someone to praise God after a child or anyone dies. What a demented way of thinking! Her life is over. There is no afterlife for her to play and run and be loved.
@jennmoslek9215 жыл бұрын
So the defense is saying what?? The FPs were performing CPR & the Heimlich so inaccurately that their hands were up by her neck & on her bum? Had they also been doing both for a number of days leading up to the baby "choking" & that caused various stages of bruising & an arm fracture that was potentially healing for several weeks? Sounds to me like the defense has absolutely NOTHING valid to defend these A-holes with so they are grasping at straws. I was a case manager for DCF in Florida for years & part of the licensing procedure for foster home licensing was & still is CPR/First Aid cert training...
@erinm39805 жыл бұрын
Jennifer Moslek Great points! Never thought about how CPR would be a requirement before becoming a foster parent. Even if they were placed in the home on a friend or kinship basis and bypassed all the classes typically required....there should most def had been a cpr requirement at the VERY LEAST!!! She is supposedly a 3rd year law student and such an up and coming political influence but relied on “television” for her knowledge of cpr? I’m no rocket scientist but even I could figure out how to administer some sort of cpr with out killing a 2 year old!
@Investigativebean5 жыл бұрын
These life saving techniques (Heimlich maneuver, and cpr) do tend to require a little more force than many people realize. Most people that are ill equipped, or untrained would apply too little force though. Like with the Heimlich they’d very likely be fearful of hurting the baby, and not apply an adequate jolt. The defense is nonsense.
@susanjay73475 жыл бұрын
Jennifer Moslek yes I kept thinking that about CPR, etc!!!! But she got girls bypassing all the req be of who she knew. The DCF supervisor said had Jennifer gone thru normal channels she would have been rejected as a foster parent by giving her maiden name alone since she was a former foster child herself. Privilege and who she knew killed Laila and those people should be held responsible as well!

This doctor said that in over 100,000 emergency patients, he had never seen diffuse bruising from CPR or the Heimlich, before Laila. Bruising on her pelvis and the small of her back that couldn't be from falls. I have never been as angry watching videos, as I have been watching this trial. Ever.

@Justin Voluck the child had fractures to the arm and leg, petechiae behind the ear, black eyes...she was 2. I appreciate your neutral viewpoint, it speaks to an unemotional and impartial intellect. Considering what i've heard so far, I find it hard to believe that Laila's pancreas was transected spontaneously from one episode of the Heimlich. Several physicians (ER doctors), nurses, and coroners have stated that this is an abuse case. I will take your opinion into consideration since it was so respectfully stated. I pay you that same respect when I state that I feel the verdict will be guilty. Either way i'm sad such a sweet child lost her life.

When the lawyer had the physician look at the images of the child you can tell he was hesitant as far as wanting to recall that memory which I could imagine it’s not something you would want to remember visually It’s so sad that children have to endure such horrendous acts from people that don’t deserve to have children within their reach. Makes me sad and angry and it’s so unfortunate that children have to deal with such evil people.

CPS. Foster care needs to investigated to the fullest extent of the law and stricter laws involving fostering children and mandate CPS. Checking on children and not just handed the kids back over to the so called parents and fire the ones that dont do this horrible abuse of children

Why why why do they need this court reporter talking into that stupid device.. cant they just tape it and transcribe it? That is the most stupid looking thing ever, along with the huge cones people stuck in their ears to hear better.

There needs to be more money invested in the foster care system nation wide . these poor babies need a system that protects them and hires social workers who really care and . CHECK ON FOSTER PARENTS AT LEAST ONCE A MONTH!! THROUGH BACK GROUND CHECKS OF WORKERS AND FOSTER PARENTS CONVICTED OF ABUSE HAVE THEIR NAMES IN A NATION WIDE DATA BASE WITH THEIR PICTURES

Idk if astonishing is the correct word, but how astonishing, disgusting, heart wrenching that practically perfect strangers that only met Leila in death are having more of a reaction then the monsters that were lucky enough to be charged with the responsibility of looking out for and protecting these children, children that were already considered vulnerable. I’ve been to prison. They don’t take kindly to baby killers. Enjoy!🤮🤬

I really don't understand the defense attorney's obsession with "wrongly administered" reanimation. There is no way on earth that even the very most clumsiest people on earth could hurt someone's head, neck, pelvis and genitals by doing the world's worst CPR or Heimlich maneuver. It's the most ridiculous defense, but I guess there was nothing else to build on.
