They run a little small, not as large as a Stetson, many times a person will take a size larger, other times, not.. luckily,u have the luxury of stopping by and trying them on, so we’ll get u fit properly..

So so.. maybe a fawn one. But A stratoliner is the same hat as a whippet with western style band and binding, I’d go w the stratoliner instead , same silhouette but it’s trimmed more western

Then get the Hamilton by selentino or the Stylemaster by akubra.the Stylemaster felt is around a zillion times more rainproof..it’ll last u 3-4x longer, and the Hamilton is just the nicest designed teardrop of the three...thin binding, lower crown, more shapely teardrop and the bow on the side is the nicest I’ve ever seen, it’s a nicer band,has a WindCord.. and they’re both cheaper than the whippet, of the three, the whippet is my least favorite, but I still like it lot

Look at the Stetson Roadster. Narrower binding on the brim. I bought it, swapped out the leather hat band & had a 1 inch ribbon with bow installed by JJ Hat's. 👍😊👍🙏

Felt season JUST started, the very first felts from Stetson are rolling in right now..usually the domestic stuff is first,and the custom made stuff we import from Europe comes last. It’s custom,they’re a smaller company..and u have to add shipping time, and then time for it to lay at Kennedy airport at Customs, then the shipping company calls us, and delivers it the next day after it clears customs.. I wouldn’t expect the Seville right yet, it’s early.. I’d guess that mid to late November is about right. Stetson was about two weeks behind schedule this year,and last year it was a nightmare.. so if u take into account the covid delays etc, it could be late November? Hard to say, they’re usually slated for “Autumn”(October-November) but yeah, a lot of hats just arrive late, it’s the nature of the business, every year they say,”mid October?” When we order hats,and they arrive later,all hat companies are sorta like that.. clients always want the new felts before they arrive. v or sometimes they arrive in 4-5 huge orders, spread out over a couple weeks..in small shipments .. that’s common, but watch the new arrivals section during November, that when the bulk of our hats all arrive,basically..although they still keep coming through December and January

That's the taupe, we never trim grey with a brown band. That's a slightly older version of taupe. The band may have changed colors slightly since then. Grey wouldn't ever have a brown band. Taupe is more Earth tones, grey usually has a grey or black band

Tough one, but yeah. I like a well designed center crease,2 3/8" brim..that's just nice to my eyes, teardrops are cool,but not me..
