People so often think they can get away with being a PoS (Piece of Poop), and many pushovers will allow that and talk about "letting it go", forgiveness, and such...but, some don't. A thief robbing another thief is an old story. There are some thieves who only target prostitutes, drug dealers, or others engaged in illegal businesses - because they won't call the police. It sounds like the murder victim may've had it coming. Sadly this defense works way more often than it doesn’t. People are so trained to think you need DNA evidence or video recordings of the crime that when those things are lacking they think they cannot find the person guilty “behind a reasonable doubt.”

You worked previously as a forensic technician and have an intimate knowledge of crimescenes. Okay. You asked friends about how much cocaine could kill a person and then tried to overdose Taylor.
