Good luck on the bidding. Always bid on the ones you would like, you never know. Out of the 3 routes I’ve had I like my current one the best, and it was one of those route people said only people with plenty of years get.

If you are on a super long term opt, you can stay there until opt is broken or you bid out I wouldn't bid just to bid. Bid only on routes you'd want. I got converted to Unassigned regular and was on an opt at the time. I bid out because opt was going to end. Ended up with my 2nd choice which is still better than just being randomly assigned

I just bid on a new route I was assigned when I became regular because I was a junior carrier so the route landed on me I like it now but in the beginning it was ruff

Good luck on your bids. My office just had route inspections and a route got dissolved, so now everyone under in seniority will have to re bid in a few weeks 😅

Can't win a bid if you don't try ... the route I 1st picked I haven't left not best area as I've shown you but the norm is around 2 trays of dps , half a try of flats and about 60 packages a day

I ended up with my second choice, but it’s actually a very nice area. But, only down fall the route needs to be cut. It’s over an hour and the people on my route order way too much. My average scans every day is 300+. In a way it’s good, built in overtime and all I do is my own assignment instead of getting on the ODL.

never heard float set before, I'm assuming its a T6 assignment, but bid that 1st choice if its your favorite out of the 3. It will go to your next choice if someone with higher seniority get it.

Dude bid on the float route also. U never know I ended up getting the best float in the office i beat out someone who had 2 yrs more then me. So I would suggest bid on all of them except the ones u really don’t want ..

I got a mail for GIS. I passed the test before and now this is my second GIS. I'm very confident that I can pass again. I can finally end my unemployment.😀During the bidding process, what determines whether you get what you want? For example: Score? How many years have you worked? etc. .

Difficult at first. You need a headlight. You have to be extra careful walking on Ice and watch out for other things. Be cautious

Relay, park and loop, walk.. it’s all the same. Relay means you deliver Mail and return to your vehicle for more Mail for the next section or relay/walk. Back in the day there were green relay boxes to get your next section of mail from.. nowadays your truck is your relay box so to speak.
