There are about 28 different types of cherries. What kind of cherry is meant for this drink? Dried cherries available in the market may have added sugar to them. Above that added sugar in cherries, when we add sugar - organic or not - the sugar content in the drink may be unhealthy in the long run even for the non-diabetic population. Well-known doctors who are not on the good books of the sugar industry soundly advise us that sugar is the number one enemy of sound health.
