We are a couple who are building our own home from the ground up in the mountains of West Virginia. After living near the city our entire lives we finally decided to sell it all, pack up our 3 kids and live in an RV on our 73 acres while building our own debt free, off-grid house and learning to live a more self-reliant life.
Our house build is documented entirely on our main channel "Wild Wonderful Off-Grid" and our family life vlogs can be found on our secondary channel "Wild Wonderful After Show"

As I get closer to the end of My lifeline, I cannot tell you how much joy you both have brought to My life through watching your channel from the very beginning, I had a vision over 40 years ago and never had the chance to pursue it but that vision has come to life through you and everything you have built and accomplished and I am grateful I get to see My dream come to life through your hard work and dedication, the house is so close on the outside with deck to what I sketched 45 years ago My wife asked is Josh your other Son, no lol but I would be dam proud to say he was, you both are amazing people and your marriage and children reflect that.

@@BeardedTruth we don’t do things just to impress or try to gain subscribers. We came out here to build a home, build a farm, build a garden and spend time together as a family….not have a Yt channel and chase subscribers. We have A LOT more fencing to do, gardening, landscaping, and more stonework. We totally understand if you’re bored and don’t watch- that’s your choice- on tv you can watch an entire house/property fixed up/built in one hour episode. It’s our choice to live life as it happens and show it that way. This isn’t hgtv… things don’t happen overnight. It’s just the two of us doing all the work and documenting our real life. We aren’t here to make a flashy, unrealistic tv show. Our viewers who have been so kind and supportive for all this time understand what we are doing, understand it takes time and will check in on the progress whenever they feel so inclined ☺️

Josh, you are great, brother, but WD40 is not a lubricant, it's a solvent. It will lubricate for a few minutes (so would water), but then it dries to a tacky residue that attracts dirt. How do you do it Erin? All that feeling and warmth that happens when I watch your vids. I know the music selection is part of it. Love it! But it’s also the the little snippets and angle shots like you and Elle walking thru the woods, while she chatters away and you lovingly listen. A true picture of what parenting is all about! Or the the sarcastic snipes that you and Josh exchange but w/ the laugh or chuckles that follow. The cameo shots of Chuck, the animals or the trees or flowers 🌸 it’s a God given gift! Always embrace it! You’re an artist with the camera but your story is about a loving family! 👌 I can’t say I know you in person but I know do know you and your family by the story you tell in your vids. I’m truly blessed to “know” your family story and the shared love! 👌😊 Absolutely incredible! 👍

Erin, your videography in this video is the best yet. From the start you incapsulate the most beautiful panoramic setting of the area that you live, bring the adorable cuteness of Ellie and her egg interactions with her Mom and Dad, barely finish staining posts and laying fence, then come in with a tight shot of all of your family hanging out on your deck roasting marshmallows. All the while making your viewers want to participate with you. Just doesn't get any better than that.

Great videography, Erin. I’m so pleased to have been with you since the beginning. I love watching you, Josh and your blessed children grow and try new things. Your skills have emerged and are refined. Now the time you spend together is so much sweeter. How wonderful.

Awesome video. Great job on the homestead. Getting so close to the 1 Million mark, so that is very exciting too. Seems like just a bit ago, I was watching you clear the trees, along with about 5 thousand other subscribers!! Wonderful to see all the hard work, the development of the property, the growth of the family and the strengthened relationship over all that time.

How cute is Ellie, she is so excited for the ducklings. I think Ellie is going to grow up to be your Egg and Fowl Wrangler. You guys should be so proud of your kids. You raised them to know hard work gets you good things. They are all hard workers, and players. They enjoy life, they are happily helping you guys, and they appreciate what you are doing for them. Love the videos Stay safe

As a country outdoors guy who works at a desk on front of four large screens in a busy Ops room for 12 hours a day with one window to look out of, and lives in a small one bedroom apartment in Suberbia and can only get out to the country on days off, I want to thank you guys from the bottom of my heart!! It's a real tonic to the mind sitting down and watching this after a busy weekend at work. Just seeing you all sitting down for smores at that bbq pit at the end of the day after a solid day's graft with the kids all involved made my weekend! Thank you!

Gates, my parents had a deer farm and took two gates and spliced the bottoms together with tubing and bolts. Worked perfect, standing 15 years later
