@@slaya567 Talking about Chelsea before Abramovich. from the 90s Chelsea won two FA cups (1997,2000) UEFA cup winners cup and super cup (both 1998) and a league cup at 98. The Russian blood money came at 2003. Before that Chelsea was not relevant at all. Don't act like it was a big club. There's a chance they would have got relegated by now or at the best case they would be on the level of spurs.

They are not completely different charges, there's just a lot more of them in City's case. Let's take off book transactions. One of them is paying Mancini half his salary via an Abu Dhabi "sports" company. City of course denies this but it's as good as proven as the paper trail has been found and even Mancini himself has admitted and declared it (to save his own skin from being convicted for tax evasion in Italy).

This is a very good listen. As a City fan I genuinely don't have an issue with Chelsea, ver similar clubs. This is just one legal experts opinion based on facts and rules. But it sounds as though Chelsea have admitted pretty much everything city are accused of, while also potentially failing psr. Rory's face seemed like a penny had dropped for him. Be interesting to see how this plays out.

As a chelsea fan, i am absolutely ashamed by the home crowd support this season. I feel Chelsea fans in a way have been spoilt by Roman. Most chelsea fans are unable to come to terms with the fact that there won't be any other football owner in world football like Roman. Money making wasn't a criteria for him. But for the rest of the 99.9999% of the football owners have to prioritize money making and making the club sustainable in the long term. Secondly, fans attending the stadium cannot even be bothered about creating a good atmosphere within the stadium. But, they come in with folded arms and as soon as things start going down, they create a toxic atmosphere within the stadium.. Then you have the CST group releasing letters warning about "Irreversible toxicity" if things don't change soon, right when the club is about to enter crucial run of fixtures midway through the season. We got 2 games in hand over 7th place West Ham, if we win both we are in 7th position. We played 1 cup final and in the semi final of the FA Cup, the club is in better position compared to last season and will no doubt be better than this season the next season. The supporters should have a good look at themselves in the mirror first before deluding themselves into thinking they support Real Madrid, where success is a given...

If they sell Kepa for 70m that counts as no profit because of the fee they bought them for. When you listen to this, it's almost obvious why Poch is unsackable: there's a world of pain coming and Chelsea can't afford to pay him off. And if you're going to be absolutely hamstrung by points deductions and whatnot, the only metric that will matter - assuming they aren't relegated as punishment - will be staying in the league. And Poch can do that much.

Even if Chelsea get away with just a 6 point deduction this season, they'll be in a far worse position next season with no more crown jewels to sell, no Champions league again, and expensive deadwood that can't be sold to balance the books because they signed them on 8 year contracts. Could eventually get relegated with or without a points deduction. But definitely no longer a force in English football. On the positive side , I look forward to seeing the likes of Mudrik and Enzo, in their prime, playing for Chelsea vs. Man City in a mid-table Championship match.

The elephant in the room is that due to a War being fought in Ukraine Chelsea lost one of best owners in the Premier League, everyone dopes or cooks books, but Chelsea took it to a whole other level with Todd. Abramovich was a great owner full stop, this is not a easy fix I see Arsenal vs City for 3/4 more years now. Klopp is leaving if Alonso doesn’t hit the ground running and City get relegated the league is Arsenal’s for a few years.

There is one major significant point everybody has missed. Chelsea will be playing in the richest ever 32 team world club cup tournament 2025 which is already a guaranteed £50 million just for qualifying and circa £100 million for the winners. Chels3a will be favourites along with Real Madrid and City so we'll be getting extra millions the more we progress.

Chelsea and Manchester City are representing England in the FIFA club world cup tournament in 2025 as only English clubs to have won European trophy since 2020/21. Do we think the English FA, premier league and FIFA would allow these clubs to be relegated through punishment and represent England on a worldwide stage in a tournament worth billions.

By your criteria there's only 2 other clubs fit to take part in the WCCup (Real & Inter) The EPL have had 7 finalists out of the last 6 finals (12 participants). For anyone who thinks that Chelsea will have a couple of tough seasons then normal service will resume please think again. The last club of Chelsea's stature to spend recklessly was Leeds Utd. When the bubble burst, they went from Champions League contenders to relegation strugglers in the space of two seasons and, when relegated, took 16 years to get back to the PL.
