Before we move on to the 1959 Ford project and the Rolledrunner, we have to wrap up a few things on the Holey Goat. We finish off the interior, install a hood "tach", get our ears on with a CB radio, and fix a bad modulator valve!

I'm thinking you might be able to get a patent for a holey goat patterened wrap that may be applied to any car. You know, for all the people who are jealous of your awesome GTO.

Got to love electric gremlins. My 1988 Dodge truck has a kill switch. The passenger window switch. Press it and the truck turns off. 😀

I got a 97 Dodge pickup that occasionally the mirrors wiggle the stereo will come on and off and the seat will move all on its own 😂

When I lose a screw or nail the first place I look is under one of tires. Seems to always end up there. A revival video most definitely!!!

I can see only one small tiny little issue with that “tach”, that print out should be pegged at redline…

Plumbers' pipe strap was always a popular choice when mounting 8-tracks and CB's. I bet you got a roll of it laying around some place. Also, get yourself a 12 pack of Bud long necks, and save the bottle caps. Those are the knobs for your radio, the CB, and the 8-track. Also any other accessory knobs that they fit on. We used to just glue them on over the existing knobs. (Peel the little plastic lining out of the cap and use JB Weld) You're in this all the way, and I can see that your dedication is obvious. That's why I feel a moral obligation to offer assistance with filling in any extra details to ensure a period correct ambiance for this fine project. So far, I don't see anything that looks out of place.

Texas switched to multi year plates in 75. The '75 plates were the only year with a star between the letters and numbers. Then in '78, the county clerk would give you a sticker you put in the upper right corner for the year, and the upper left corner said what month registration was due. We moved back to Texas (from Blue Springs) in the summer of '75. My dad's car, which ended up being my first car, had a plate that started with an L.

The good thing about the 8 track player is you can get an adapter that can play cassettes or MP3. Assuming that rotten old thing even works.

The CB takes the car right back to the mid 1970s. When you go for a Coors run watch out for Smokey Bear. East bound and down.

I had a 73 Nova at one time and I’m a fan of 74 GTOs. Those are definitely 73-74 X-body door panels.

Hell yes rescue Glens car go there fix it and drive it home to Kansas. On video and clean it and detail it tell us all the options and rarities of the car. Then Glen can fly out and drive it back to Florida once it is perfect and we all got to see it and learn about it. We would also have a face to the hood tack scoop lol

You did an excellent job with those door panels, and like you said it is safer now, believe it or not I did the same thing 23 years ago on my 1st car which was a 1986 Chevy Cavalier and yes, it was crap! I used some door panels from a 1996 Chevy Corsica for the rear doors, mine were broken and made them fit by trimming and using screws to hold them in place also made all seats fit it was an upgrade for a low buck, you got to find your ways whenever needed with what you have, like always awesome video!

You can use Mod Podge spread thinly to glue the "tach" to the plexiglass, and it'll dry clear. The other thing you can use is white Elmer's glue thinned out a bit. I've made decals for models using printer paper and it works

Since I've been binging your holey goat episodes, I remember only a few days ago when you did a ground switch for your chinese lights instead of a +12v switch. I remember thinking at the time that seemed brave for chinese product you ran all around your cheese grater car :D But I think that explains why moving the door panel you ran the lights through causes an intermittent ground ;) I'm sure you've figured this out by now. I'm enjoying seeing how your channel really got off the ground.

I think you need another decoration on the holey goat. Paint a Pentagram on the roof because we all know goats association with devils. And that would give protection to it "cause this things already been to hell once, should have to go again!
