However, one can consider the fact that Rumi always refers seeking as related to the source the "beloved", which is within one and as a result the seeker is the beloved or holds the beloved within. Regardless of how we interpret his words his is magnificent.

That is partially true ... but people do help us see ourselves coz we are sociable beings , we feed on people's energy and inspiration... living without others is not worth living.

Collectively we do it to get them entertained coz we can't entertain them all the time (magic of screen time) . To me personally I do it coz if I don't I am depriving my child of sth all her generation do and have ..I can't go against the current the child will want it even more ...
