Very informative video. Thanks for sharing. I can’t help but wonder if Dr. Steven Drews is somehow related to the late African American Dr. Charles Drew, who was known as the father of modern day blood banking and transfusions. My concern is now that there are several medications which can make HIV undetected by blood screening tests, how can blood recipients be protected from possible infections from HIV contaminated blood?🩸🧐💭

Thank you so much for making this valuable content! I am Vietnamese and I can confirm that back to 90s and 2000s, many Vietnamese people ate placenta because they think umbilical cord has many stem cells, especially mesenchymal stem cells, and that is the truth. However, nowadays, in the hospitals of obstetrics and gynecology, most Vietnamese pregnant women decide to reserve or store placentas in biobanks insteads of eating those ones. And I think that is the better choice 🥰 Your channel is really amazing and I shared with my friends who are doctors and scientist in biotech. Wish you all the best! Ha Le.
