Having been a longtime Traeger+ user, I am thrilled to have made the switch to Asmoke. While Traeger+ was good, I found that Asmoke brought my BBQ experience to a whole new level. The Asmoke pellet grill's precise temperature control and the variety of wood pellet flavors have genuinely elevated my smoked ribs game. The smart design and the portability of the grill make it an ideal choice for my regular outings. Moreover, Asmoke's ASCA™ technology ensures efficient and better cooking results, and the clean-up is much more effortless compared to my previous grill. Their FlameTech patent is a game changer, providing more accurate temperature control. Also, being able to monitor the food temperature and adjust the grill temperature remotely via an app is simply fantastic. Asmoke has truly revolutionized the way I BBQ, and I couldn't be happier with my decision to switch. #Asmoke.

Tri tip has two different directions of grains. I usually slice in the middle first to separate the two parts. You can see with the slice after that scene that it was against the grain.

Yeah the drum smoking method is a not a bad method it's a good way to putting wood smoke inside it seems to leave it dryer than my taste. Now I come from where tri-tip is from the traditional Pappy's beer marinated on a Santa Maria Grill as well and fine but I wouldn't put Pappy's on smoked tri-tip it just overpowers it( Pepe's is a seasoning blend that was created for California style barbecues is garlic salt onion powder cumin paprika and a bunch of other stuff really good). I'm not sure about the garlic butter the juices is really all the sauce you really need but I can see if it's discipline smoke no rub that the garlic butter might be an added accoutrement. Oak I'm not sure we use grape wood in apricot and Peachwood but that should give it kind of a how to say rustic smoke. You can try marinating it before smoking it leaves it a little more juicier but we eat it kind of rare here so maybe that's just a byproduct of hemoglobin blood sauce
