Bigger networks 3g,4g,5g still a problem of signal disconnectivity, Speed also a big issue so dumb governments will allow nonsense they don't understand by disconnecting this may have big impact no gonna use when its raining or cloudy because of those networks so only a stupid government will allow such nonsense. It won't work at all

Why are you quoting list prices? There are always massive discounts on the Stelantis cars, so if you are talking "value" on new cars, the OTR price is what matters, not the list.

I fully understand, believe in and would do whatever I can to support the need for regulatory bodies covering the installation of equipment such as that controlled by MCS. From what I gather it is especially in need at the moment as, based on comments from consumers and fitters that have spoken to me on this subject, it’s like the wild west out there at the moment! My issue is that it appears that the body (MCS) is most definitely not doing what I would have expected it to do which is to protect consumers? At the moment MCS members are paying a fee and in return are given authority, subject to controls, to certify the work done. This then allows the consumer to satisfy the requirements for joining the SEG scheme. If the consumer is unaware of the need for certification until after the job is done then it would seem the programme is too retrospective in its application? It is not protecting consumers but merely allowing someone to say “I told you so” after the damage is already done? Without wishing to sound too trivial, can I suggest that from a consumers point of view it feels like, “Was the fitter wearing red trousers on the day of fitting? No…….(sharp intake of breath). Well that’s it then, no red trousers no payment for your electricity, there’s nothing more can be done”? I might at this point remind all parties that this is MY electricity. Not MCS's and not the energy suppliers and not the governments. I would have thought that when discussing MY electricity generation that I might have been included somewhere in the conversation? I also do not understand the logic of requiring certification before payment can be made under the SEG scheme? If there is the potential for the electricity fed back into the grid being dangerous in some form then why is it still being taken? Looks to me like the more non registered fittings that are being done, the more “free” energy the grid gets from householders. That cannot be right!! The quieter MCS registration is kept the better off the energy companies are. Hardly the right incentive? Surely it’s not right that energy companies benefit from non registered fittings? Customers are being actively encouraged to do their bit by the Government, pressure groups, the media et al to help protect energy security and help with environmental concerns. We do this at huge cost. My initial return estimate was 6 years but now, as I was unaware of the need for MCS registration, I’m missing out on approx £250.00 per year in energy chargebacks which has added another two years to the payback time. The system guarantee is only 10 years so effectively I’ve lost 20% of my period of 100% savings. I've got better things to do with £12,000 than tuck it away for 8 years!!! I'm not sure how many non MCS registered fitters are out there but anecdotally talking to fitters I would suggest that it is a very sizeable percentage. But 100% of systems that are not registered can't use the SEG scheme!

Hi, Nicolas. Thanks for this great video and perfect explanation. It helped me to take decision and now I am using Livoltek All-In-One system for couple weeks as backup system (separate circuit with critical loads is connected to EPS), without solar. In general it is perfect, only there are some questions I can't find answers. Livoltek support is not enough developed in Ukraine to help :(. Maybe you can give some suggestions. Beer from me, of course :) 1. What is the reason of difference between Load and Battery when discharging? In my case it is around 200-300 w regardless of power (Battery 0,229 kw => Load 0,04 kw; Battery 0,605 kw => Load 0,291 kw). When charging I see also some difference but much less in % (Grid 1,539 kw => Battery 1,359 kw). I understand about efficiency and losses, but 200-300 w (up to 60% in some cases) look too much. 2. When I use self-define mode, very often invertor doesn't charge battery during set hours for charging. But sometimes it is charing. I can't understand why ann what is happening... Appreciate if you can comment.
@NicolasRaimo
@NicolasRaimo 6 күн бұрын
1). Could be to do with distance from Ct to inverter you can change it to a meter and Ct setup like mine for long distance.. 2) self define can take 24 hours to settle it self into settings

@@NicolasRaimo kindly ask you to comment. I have checked through local mode and see the same difference. My question is WHY in APP I see approximately 200 watts difference between LOAD and BATTERY? I read that Livoltek itself should consume 50 watts and efficiency is pretty high.

I have a similar solar and battery solution pending install. Why would you not dump almost all of your excess battery in the late evening and then recharge your battery to full during the off peak period. My typical usage would leave the battery at 70 - 80% around 9pm so I could dump all but 10% before 11:30pm and therefore make another profit on a further 7kwh per day. In my case with EON, I would make an additional £69.30 per month (6.9p import rate vs 40p export rate x 7kwh per day)
@NicolasRaimo
@NicolasRaimo 6 күн бұрын

Expensive! I am surprised you have issues with the edges where your patio is, it looks like you just need to "mow" the first 6 inches or so as it looks like it is the same level as the lawn? Once you have used it for a year or so the lawn will gradually get higher as you will be returning all the grass cut directly so the patio edges should be no problem. I love my Robot mower, guide wire and all, once the wire is buried your dog will not be able to dig it up!

The issue with smart water meters is if the system is hacked a thief could monitor usage well enough to predict when someone isn't home or on vacation. It makes a break-in easier for them to time. One couple in Streetsboro Ohio just started a moratorium on city wide installs so all the issues can be looked at. Not everything that can be "smart" is safe for the home owner. It would be great in a perfect world but there are too many people looking at the illegal usage of new technologies.

I need something to cut 2 acres within 5 acres of ground with plenty of wild 'islands' & paths. This mower is a serious contender for the specs its got. 3 of these (biggest ones) are less than 10k, the similar husqvarna is 4.5k each +vat and cuts less area. Considering the cheapest john deere diesel mower is around 20k nowadays these things are getting cheap! The time these could save is worth it to me alone, this is a future of grass cutting we should all be looking at. The resources wasted in grass cutting are staggering.
